yess i used poster paint,
thank you very much

I'm pretty sure that you can use
acrylic and oil as well, might even
look better than using poster paint.

what i did was that i took a picture
of myself, then using photoshop
i added in other things like flowers,
circles, butterflies, etc as you like.

then i made it into a..hm..what u call it...
the transparent paper thing that you use
for the over head projectors. Yeah,
however you print your photo on there
and place it on the overhead projector
and start tracing it on your canvas/paper etc.
after you finish tracing the outline
you can start painting according to the outline

ahhhhhhh i see.
ya, ive used an overhead projector for drawing someone before, but i didnt think of just printing it out on the clear paper, i just traced over a picture and then transferred my outline. Your way is much more sensible but i find that i try to push myself into just drawing from a picture with my eyes. Although i like the overhead idea A LOT.
anyway i think you are very creative!

lol yeah its good training to do it by just looking, but the canvas was wayyyy too big for me to actually try to transfer every detail and rescale it with my bare eyes so yeah hehehe. but yep, it just makes life easier for a huge canvas
