Hello!Made this with reference of the Sha sketch done by Blizzard for the next World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria.
When watching Blizzcon it really intrigued me how awesome the Sha sketches looked and therefore i made one myself!
Hope you all like it, it was alot of fun to make!

I did use it as reference yes : ) I drew it myself, didn't trace it, but i did want it to keep the awesome look that the Blizz one has!

It certainly is a rather surreal looking... object. It also has that blended coloring technique that you just can't get with computers.

As dangerous as they probably are, this one just looks like he's a potential companion pet looking up at you trying to say; "Be my friend, pretty please?", in his own wierd way ^^

The pandarian race is actually an original idea back from Warcraft 3.
Ive been told that the original idea for tbc was for the alliance to get the pandarians, but they changed their minds and choose the draeneis instead, who is also from Warcraft 3 (though while they where only critters, the pandarians had a hero you could actually play with in some of their maps).

This. People seem to have forgotten or just don't know that Pandaren were in Warcraft 3! My guildies keep flipping out about, "How does this even fit into the lore?"

But then again, I think you are right in them trying to reach out into a younger audience, even here in Europe we got too many of them...
