but, like so many of your pieces, there's that subtle bittersweetness present.
no matter how beautiful on the surface, there are deep currents at work here.
the figure in the cage,...head downturned,...is he reaching out to set some part
of himself free? or is he reaching out in hopes of grasping something that he
might hold and find some meaning in,...some purpose,...some reason not
to give up.
