SO1 and SO2 are available on the PSP
SO3 is for the PS2
SO4 is for the X-Box
I think with Star Ocean it depends on which consoles/handhelds you own, rather than which is more popular. SO2 is widely seen as the most popular by classic fans, because it was the first released Star Ocean game in the west. But SO3 has crept up with popularity I think.

I think i have Star ocean two? I don't know the cute game with the girl with blue hair and the moon inside it! I always thought the third star ocean is the most popular, it is with Abel right? ahaha XDD

Yeah, The girl with blue hair has a moon pin in her hair, and that is Star Ocean 2.
I think Star Ocean 3 is the most popular in the west, I'm not sure about in the east. It might be joint favourite with SO2.
