Forget Prince Charming- I'll take Hatter! that's my official slogan for this work
inspired by Alice in Wonderland trailer (going to see the movie soon..hopefully) and Alice in Wonder Underground PV
My version of Hatter is...rather eclectic. It's like..Death Note meets William Blake (Johnny Depp character from Dead Man movie, 1995). And Alice...well, all i can say-i wanted to make her classic, i mean more feminine, so i used softer lines when drawing and i blurred her hair a bit to add some romantic flavour ^_^
and yeah, I'm working hard to stay alive on DA and upload something new ^__^ i even skipped a lecture yesterday, yay!

Your work is... charming. The Hatter has something magnetic on him. A lot of charm, I don't have other words (*maybe that's because my English is pretty lame, I don't know... xD*). And Alice... she's delicate, but it doesn't mean she seems fragile. No. She seems like a girl who wants to go to a place totally crazy and new, and seems excited for it... and there's Hatter to take her there! ^^
I loved it. And I kind of envy Alice there. I'd take Hatter any time, too! xDDDD

This is so sensual: the expressions of the characters, the supply outstretched arm and the hands delicately touching... I absolutely ADORE your version of the Hatter! I actually laughed when you said he was a mix of Death Note/Dead man xD (Dead Man must be one of Depp's best movies... I really have to watch it again, I can hardly remember it! It's like I have this rule that every memorable movie must be memorized in order to be properly assimilated xD) Your Hatter, and the general atmosphere of the piece reminds me of the Guniw Tools; [link]
I cannot praise you enough for creating this marvelous piece! Everything, from the strange choice of colours to the vertical setting, just gives it this perfect, slightly psychedelic atmosphere that suits the characters really well. The minimalistic lines with which you define Alice - her hair, her face, the gothic rose in her hair - clash quite beautifully with the heavy black of the Hatter. Oh, and that stripe running down his throat is the sexiest thing I've ever seen 
I'll get around to viewing all your lovely pieces - I'm so sorry for not being around, you deserve so much more praise!

Ohhhh, yeah, Dead Man is...i don't have words in any of my active vocabularies to describe the emotions i felt while watching it (given that William Blake is one of my favorite poets
Gee, you know I'm really scared of that band - Guniw Tools. I dunno why, but they give my chills. I'm haven't heard much of them but the videos that i've seen. There is something ominous about them. I'm not saying it's a bad thing but these days some bands make me uneasy. Like there is a dark-synth-ambient-or whatever band called Dvar. I don't know if you heard of them but..they are really creepy. Their music is just a simple combination of some sounds and words that are nothing but whispering and some blabbering in some "alien" language. Well, after listening to just one song i couldn't fall asleep, because it somehow affected my poor brain! haha
I hope my Hatter is a much more...friendly and gentle ^^
