I love the fish and the mushrooms. It makes me feel nostalgic. Definitely reminds me of some of the games I used to play as a kid, so i'd say you hit the nail on the head with this one!

Hey - I love this! It's so pretty.
My sister and I are starting a children's magazine actually and we were looking on deviantart for people who would be good enough to illustrate for it. The magazine is unique because it centers around a collection of comics and cartoons. It will be for children ages 10-15 years old.
The main reason for this non-profit magazine is to combat the rise in youth depression in this nation. We believe that art can be very therapeutic and there isn't a magazine devoted to art (even though there are literary magazines).
We also have a lot of articles and stories that you could illustrate if you prefer.
This is a good opportunity to challenge yourself with something new and to get your name out in print! We'd love to have you.

I must say, I've seen them all and though they are all quite beautiful, truly stunning, this one is my favourite. The child's imagination is so very hard to capture, but you've done extremely well to include such an aspect of the fantastic. You must keep your childhood very close to your heart to be able to paint something like this. Congratulations.

I always find your artwork superb and inspirational and have many times, unsuccessfully tried to emulate the style, heh!
However, the colouring in this one is a little different. For example, besides the base colour, the bears and the fish are far stronger in colour than anything else. The fish fit in as you have beautifully faded them into the picture, but the bears seem a little too abrupt, making them appear a little out of place in this scene, almost as if they were an afterthought. And the strength of their colour seems to draw too much focus.
Regardless, as is due your work, it has still drawn plenty of admirers.

Aww that is so lovely! I love the little details, such as the little lights. Your work blows me away. You wanna know what I find amazing? How you can portray the qualities of the card so perfectly through the painting. You do that for every one and it amazes me.
