Description "Hang on," Aeolus yelled through the unnatural wind patterns, "You have to hold on tighter my grip is slipping!"

Jake tried grasping onto one of Aeolus' arms as best as he could, though without thumbs it was near impossible.

"Oh crap," Aeolus lost his grip on is second arm after being buffeted by another gust of wind, letting Jake dangle by his hind legs.

"JAKE!" Haze screamed, trying to get close to help, but a gust of wind always held her and Dagger at bay atop of Swift.

"Aeolus, can't you do something about this," Jake frantically swung side to side, watching the ground hover above him in his upside-down world.

A shot of fear ran down his spine when he felt Aeolus' grip loosen around his legs. Aeolus looked down, a panicked expression clear on his face. Jake closed his eyes as soon as the whooshing of air was all around him. He couldn't tell if he screamed, but all he could do now was wait for the quiet, hard ground to greet him. In less than a second, tight bindings wrapped around Jake bringing him a jarring halt. His heart was pounding like mad; sweat soaked his fur as he slowly opened his eyes again. He was still 100 feet above the ground, suspended by Aeolus gangly arms that had nearly let him fall to his perilous death. Aeolus himself was cackling like a madman, quickly bringing them back up to where Haze, Dagger, and Swift circled overhead.

"So how was your 'Freefall of Fright', hahahaha!" Aeolus continued his giddy cackle.

Jake, quickly realizing that Aeolus had planned this, growled in anger, "What the heck was that for?!"

"Oh come on, I caught you didn't I?"

"But what if you didn't?"

"Then I guess we would have ourselves the world's first Arcanine sized pancake."

Jake was unamused by the little joke and growled again.

Aeolus rolled his eyes, "Please, it's not like I wouldn't be able to catch you."

"That's wasn't funny you oversized weather balloon!" Haze roared as Aeolus brought Jake back up to where they were hovering.

Dagger crossed his arms, a small hint of anger against his otherwise blank stare.

Swift hovered closer to Aeolus also giving him a death glare, "Oliver will not be happy when he finds out about this."

Aeolus shrugged, rolling his eyes, "Aah, can't blame a guy for wanting to have a little fun."

"Right fun," Jake grumbled.

Aside from the crude joke, the rest of the flight went without to much trouble. Jake was still pretty uncomfortable having to be an Arcanine carried by a Drifblim over the Sinnoh region, but something about the air rushing by his face made him feel ecstatic and made his tongue lull out.

"Look over there," Dagger pointed toward the ground.

Everyone else looked and immediately recognized the winding paths of Route 210. The extra tall grass obscured the trainers that fought through them like a dense jungle; the little Café Cabin sat back to the wall of trees.

Aeolus and Swift flew further to the east, the land underneath transforming from green lands to thick forest and to a rocky coast lining the vast ocean. The ocean crashed and sparkled against the coast's high cliff walls as if to try and prove it was stronger than the cliffs itself.

We're coming up on our destination," Swift called.

Everyone now felt serious and somber knowing that the enemy was near.

Jake spied the crag where the hidden cave laid in wait, teeming with Team Sigma grunts. Swift and Aeolus landed softly behind an outcrop, well out of view from the crag to avoid detection. Haze and Dagger slid off Swift's back and stretched from the prolonged flight. Aeolus unlaced his arms from around Jake. He staggered a bit, uncomfortable to be on all four, but quickly gained his bearings after an embarrassing misstep.

The group huddled up, ready to get started, "Okay, Aeolus, Swift, thank you for the ride."

Swift bowed her head, "Your welcome, be careful out there."

"Heh, I wish I could get the chance to terrorize those Team Sigma idiots," Aeolus smirked, already coming up with a couple different ways he could truly scare the hell out of the Team Sigma grunts.

Swift whomped Aeolus upside the head and rolled her eyes, "Come on you, were done here."

"Hmph, no sense of humor."

The two flying types took off, leaving the rest to Jake and his team. In his current form this would defiantly be a challenge for Jake, he couldn't see how he could really take on Team Sigma, but he would try. Haze lightly grasped Jake's shoulder. He turned to see a mixture of seriousness and worry and knew why; he merely smiled in reassurance hoping that would put away her anxiousness.

"Time to get going," Jake announced, leading the way, "Remember to lay low."

It didn't take long before the three pokemon team reached the hidden cave. They hid close to the Cliffside where most of the cover laid. Dagger peeked out to see what was going on; he raised his hand to signal the other two to come forward. Haze and Jake did so and watched the sprawl of activity for themselves. Much like there last mission, the Team Sigma raid was setup in the same fashion. Grunts ran back and forth from the cave with what looked like mining equipment and collared pokemon. The cave itself seemed to ooze darkness and gave no hints as to what laid inside for the PEF members. Other grunts busied themselves by fiddling with computer terminals and other various electronics, all of which were hooked up to inhumane power sources, electric type pokemon. All of the pokemon including some Shellos, Croagunk, and Sableye wore black control bands and stood vacantly unless prompted by a grunt.

"What do you think they're looking for?" Haze whispered to her teammates.

Dagger and Jake simply nodded their heads in a 'no clue' gesture. The team kept watching the grunts, laying in wait to see what they would uncover in the cave.

"Sir, sir!" a very excited grunt ran out of the cave and up to another higher ranking grunt, "We found it! B team is bringing them out now, and A team is gathering up the equipment."

The higher ranking grunt smiled deviously, "Excellent, Lord Kaiser will be pleased. Everyone, we're done here! Pack up the gear!"

There was an echo of 'Yes sir' as the grunts started collecting various pieces to put away.

"What are we waiting for?" Haze tensed, ready to fight, "We should be out there kicking their butts."

Jake held up a paw, "Wait a minute Haze, let's see what they're bringing out first."

Haze huffed her cheeks in annoyance, sitting back and watching the Team Sigma grunts go about their nefarious scheming. A group of grunts and collared pokemon appeared from the darkness of the cave, carrying a set of stone tablets in their wake. Haze, Dagger, and Jake all caught a glimpse of one of the tablets as they brought them closer. The entire face of the sheet of rock was covered in what looked like hieroglyphics and unknown text of mysterious secrets. Now knowing what Team Sigma was up to at such a desolate place, Jake felt it was time to act.

"Haze, I want you to get those tablets before they are taken away. I'll create a diversion with Dagger to draw the rest of the raid's attention."

Both Haze and Dagger nodded their understanding.

"Okay, let's go!"

They all took in a flash; Haze ran straight for the tablets, firing off a flamethrower to knock out an unsuspecting Croagunk. Dagger went for the center of the circle of computer terminals and cut each down into a pile of trash. Jake ran through to a group of collared pokemon and swiped and slashed at anyone he could reach with his large paws.

"Crap, it's the PEF," the commanding grunt clenched his teeth, "Everyone, protect the tablets, Lord Kaiser wants them no matter the cost!"

Grunts and collared pokemon converged on the first group that was protecting the tablet from Haze. She had to switch to a defensive stance just to keep up with the new numbers. Jake was having a hard time himself, much of his training useless in his form; all he could do was swat at his opponents with his powerful paws. He had to shake off a Sableye that decided to latch onto his back with its claws by rolling over on the ground and kicking it off when it loosened its grip. He stole a quick glance to his left; seeing Haze fighting off the new arrivals that had went off to stop her from taking the tablets. Not too far away from that, the rest of the grunts were taking away the tablets themselves and getting closer to their getaway jeeps.

"Dagger, go help Haze," Jake called as he rolled another Sableye off his shoulders.

Dagger moved swiftly from his circle of enemies and plowed through an opening to reach his partner. With Dagger's help the two pokemon easily overpowered the weaker forces and worked their way closer to the jeeps where the grunts were beginning to load up. Back on the other side of the field, Jake struggled to keep up with his attackers. Some Shellos used their super-effective water attacks to weaken Jake while Sableye and Croagunk alike kept tackling him to the ground to incapacitate him. Jake only found one strategy that could work for him in which he constantly had to dodge the incoming water attacks and rolling to the side to swat away any pokemon that came too close. Jake caught a lucky break and was able to catch two Sableye at once and knocked them both out. He watched for the next incoming Water Gun attack and evaded to the side once again, but it was a bad move. Two more Croagunk were waiting at the exact place where Jake leapt to and easily landed critical Brick Break attacks on him. Jake cringed as the wind left him; the combined attacks really did a massive amount of damage and left him to gasp for air on the ground. The Team Sigma grunts whooped in victory and ordered the rest of their pokemon to pile on top of Jake to finally keep him from moving. The Croagunk held him down as tightly as they could, the sheer number of them that were left were enough to truly hold the weaken Jake as he was.

"Let's put him out of his misery," one grunt walked forward, a proud smirk on his face, "Sableye, use Shadow Claw!"

Two collared Sableye approached Jake, menacing claws cloaked in dark energy clicked with an eerie clinking sound. Jake pushed and pried to escape, but he was too weak to muster enough energy to throw the Croagunk off of him. The Sableye took each step in a slow death walk, raising their claws like medieval axes ready to execute their victim. Jake's heart went into overdrive, adrenaline rushed through him like fire with a burning, itching sensation.

"Get off!" *Fwoosh*

I can't think of anything to improve it off hand... I know there's probably something, but what evades me.
Anyway, you had me worried when they pulled those tablets out.
I had thought they had found a fragment or something of otherwise great dark value.

So! I don't care. Black People don't like suprises in THAT way. You ever seen the video where the guy jumps out of the can and suprises the black guy and gets knocked the hell out?
