Jake Everant Age: 18 (Male)

Bio: Jake takes after most of my basic appearance and personality. Has jet black hair (which is hardly ever kept tidy), slight tan, roughly 6' 00", brown colored eyes, has claw like scar under his left forearm, and has the ability to understand pokemon. Jake is a very capable fight, even against pokemon thanks to his training at PEF and father. He is mostly calm and enjoys life with his friends and pokemon. He is a great strategist in battle, though a lot of his plans he comes up with are on the fly. Jake hates to see anyone he considers friend or family get hurt and will do anything he can to help. Jake has a tendency to look down on people that are younger than him, but does it in a joking manner. He loves a good challenge or puzzle to test himself. Although he can be fast paced, Jake likes to takes things at a slower pace to explore and enjoy life.

History: Jake was born and raised on the outskirts of Floraroma Town with his mother (Pokemon breeder) and father (Regional martial arts master) at his family's ranch. His parents were pretty surprised when they found out that he could talk to pokemon, and his father took as a sign that he should pass on his martial arts training to his son (Jake's mother doesn't always approve of his logic behind this). One day when he was 15, Jake was playing with some of the ranch pokemon when he happened upon a fight between a couple of humans with pokemon against a lone human. He joined the fight to help the lone human who turned out to be a PEF (Pokemon Elite Forces) member. Soon after being recognized by the Admins of PEF, Jake joined the Forces to fight against Team Sigma. After 2 years with PEF, Jake set off to be a trainer and challenge both the Sinnoh and Unova regions and win both leagues in under 2 years. Right now he is still debating on whether he should return to the PEF or go to run the family ranch.

Haze (Blaziken)(Female)
Move Set: Sky Uppercut, Flamethrower, Shadow Claw, Blaze Kick

Bio: Haze is about average height, but is almost twice as strong as any other Blaziken. She also has a deeper red coloration to her feathers, which she constantly frets over cleaning. Haze is one of Jake's most loyal members, though this can sometimes make her seem like she has a crush on him. Haze is always high spirited and likes to voice her opinion no matter the subject. Haze's favorite past time is gossiping with Rachael and drawing in her free time. Her attack and strength stats are extremely heightened thanks to a Rare Candy serum she was given as a Torchic. She somewhat tends to act like a girly-girl, but hates when people comment on it, especially Ryo. She also hates confining spaces (like a pokeball or cage) or having to sit out of battles. If she does get too upset or angry, she can unlock a fifth move, a more devastating version of Blast Burn, in her set. This can be incredible dangerous and life threatening to her and her teammates, so she tries to keep herself controlled.

History: Haze is Jake's first partner pokemon who he met as a Combusken on one his first missions with the PEF. Haze herself was kidnapped as a Torchic by Team Sigma and taken to an experiment lab where they tested a Rare Candy serum on her, which greatly increased her strength, but also forced her into evolution. After her rescue, Haze decided to join Jake in the PEF to take revenge on Team Sigma. Her personal vendetta led her to a confrontation between her and a Floatzel that evolved from a Buizel that she met while being held at the experiment lab. Although she defeated him, the Floatzel was too brainwashed and fled with other Team Sigma members. In Jake's trainer days she was able to win him 3 Sinnoh and 2 Unova badges and defeat 2 of the Sinnoh league Elite Four single handedly.

Dagger (Gallade)(Male)
Move Set: Psycho Cut, Calm Mind, Drain Punch, Fury Cutter

Bio: Dagger is taller than an average Gallade standing at 5'07". His forearm blades are shorter though which cuts his long range combat down. His eyes can change shades of blue depending on his emotions, but will usually stay a lucid blue in his calm state. Dagger is also three times as powerful (in terms of psychic ability) as any normal Gallade. Dagger himself tends to come off as the strong, silent type, but much of his focus is actually used to keep his power in check. It's pretty rare to see Dagger show little more than a small smile or frown because his psychic powers are filtered directly through his emotions, which can take control of him if he isn't careful. It's not unusual to see him training by himself, be he does hang out with Toran and sees him and Jake as equals. Haze on the other hand tends to get on his nerves since she's constantly pestering him to join in the group or loosen up.

History: Dagger was Jake's second pokemon to join his team. Jake met him when Dagger was assigned to his team in the PEF on a mission. Dagger was initially a part of a different team until one day when he was a Kirlia; he picked up a Pure Essence of Dawn Stone and killed his human partner. He also ended up severely injuring his other two pokemon partners on his team who still hold a grudge against him. Dagger was going to retire from PEF after his last mission with Jake and Haze, but Jake convinced him to stay and be a part of his team permantlly. He still hasn't forgiven himself for what he did, but works with Jake to gain a sense of atonement. On a side note, during Jake's trainer journey, Dagger had lost control of his emotions once again; luckily nobody was hurt but it nearly pushed Dagger to leave the team until Toran convinced him otherwise.

Rachael (Dewott)(Female)
Move Set: Surf, Razor Shell, Double Team, Ice Beam

Bio: Rachael is pretty averaged out in terms of physic and stats with the exception of a slightly higher speed stat. Her tail is shorter, but darker in color like her ears. She also has a black dot like birth mark under her right eye which I think makes her look even cuter. Rachael doesn't want to evolve past her Dewott stage because she considers herself to be perfectly beautiful as she is now. She prefers to hang out with Haze and will gossip endlessly about girly stuff. Rachael loves to collect shells from the ocean and wears a pendant necklace made with her favorite yellow spiral cone shell which she hardly ever takes off. She also prefers to be in contests than battles, but seldomly refuses friendly matches with teammates and other trainer's pokemon.

History: Jake got Rachael as his starter in Sinnoh from Prof. Junifer who was doing co-op research with Prof. Rowan. As an Oshawott, Rachael was pretty shy, especially toward Dagger and Haze until she evolved into a Dewott. She found gym battles unappealing and after Jake's second Sinnoh league badge, she convinced Jake to let her enter a contest. Rachael instantly fell in love with the contest life, and thanks to her love for it she won 4 contest ribbons in Sinnoh. Unfortunately, she and Jake were unable to win a fifth contest ribbon before the Grand Festival, but Rachael had vowed to win another year after training. On their journey through Unova, Rachael and Jake met some of their old contest friends who were also spending time in a different region to train for the next Grand Festival. They all spent some time together until Jake's fourth league badge and promised to meet again during the next Grand Festival.

Toran (Torterra)(Male)
Move Set: Frenzy Plant, Giga Drain, Magnitude, Rest

Bio: Toran is a shiny Torterra and has an extra spike along the line on his back. Like most Torterra, his greatest strength lies in his defense. His hind is strong enough that most hits that would KO the rest of Jake's team will usually only make him stumble. Also, like other Torterra, tree on his back bear's fruit in the summer, but will bear different fruit depending on his diet. Toran has a very laid back demeanor and prefers to spend his time lounging in the sun. Him and Dagger get along the best between Jake's since they both don't need to share too much emotion or conversion to understand each other. The only times when Toran breaks away from his calm demeanor is when someone tries to take fruit from his tree without permission.

History: Toran is the third member of Jake's team and the first pokemon that Jake caught as a Trainer. Jake first met him as a Turtwig after his third Sinnoh gym badge just outside of Eterna City. Jake at first thought Toran was injured because he wouldn't respond when Jake tried to wake him, but he was merely lounging in the shade of a tree. Thanks to this mix up, Jake had caught Toran to take him to a pokemon center only to find out that he was perfectly healthy. When Jake tried to release him though, Toran refused to leave because he found a sense of happiness in being with the new trainer (plus how easy it was to fall asleep in a pokeball). Despite his laid back personality, Toran evolved quickly from a Grotle soon after the team went to Unova.

Ryo (Salamence)(Female)
Move Set: Crunch, Zen Headbutt, Dragon Claw, Aerial Ace

Bio: Ryo has wider wings than average Salamence which gives her a bit of an advantage in aerial combat. The red line patterns on her head stem and stretch down to her wings unlike other Salamence as well. She also has a longer tail which she can use as an independent weapon. Ryo loves a good fight, but loves to fight dirty even more. She constantly likes to start fights even among her teammates just for the heck of it (this really gets on Toran's nerves since she picks on him when he naps). Even though she treats everyone else with disrespect, she has a huge crush on Jake and sees Haze as her rival in love. Ryo can be described as a bit of a tomboy, but will gussy herself up whenever Jake is around. This does not affect her in battle though and will listen intently to Jake's commands even when tagged with another team member.

History: Ryo is another pokemon that Jake caught in her Salamence stage while in Unova. She immediately fell in love with Jake after her capture since she admired his strength as a human. At one point she almost openly confessed her love to in an attempt to gain attraction from Jake. In the midst of this event, Haze confronted Ryo and pushed her away. Thanks to that, Ryo has considered Haze her rival in love. At one time, Ryo nearly got kicked off the team when she accidentally caused Dagger to lose control of his powers by giving him a Wiki berry as a prank.

Bradley (Reuniclus)(Male)
Move Set: PsyShock, Trick Room, Fire Punch, Night Shade

Bio: Your typical, run of the mill Reuniclus as far as appearance goes. Unlike other Reuniclus, he believes that he can only get stronger by himself. His greatest strength is his accuracy because he almost never misses with an attack after casting Trick Room. If he does miss he will usually call out "Hax" or "Lucky dodge". He is very cocky and a bit of a know-it-all, always trying to show up everyone else (especially Dagger). Bradley proclaims himself to be the best psychic type pokemon around, and doesn't listen to commands too often. Though since being on the team, he has learned to at least care when one of his teammates are in danger.

History: Bradley was caught by Jake as a Dousion a little while after Jake's third Unova badge win. After a while of training, Bradley evolved just before Jake's seventh gym battle to win it all by himself. After being on the team for a while, Bradley learned to trust his teammates, and stop being too arrogant (at least around them). One time when Jake and his team were trapped by a rouge pokemon ambush, Bradley was able to escape and fend off the rouges while Jake freed the others. He still thinks he's a superior psychic type pokemon, but at least proved to be a worthy ally on Jake's team.
