Description
The soft warm sun was setting in the distance. Everything was bathed in a cascade of oranges and reds from the sun's rays on one side. The other side of the horizon had already begun to settle into the cool blues and blacks of the night. The crescent moon hung off the edge of the sky with a few of the first stars that shone like diamonds. The tall grass and nearby trees echoed with the chirps of Kricketot and Kricketune alike. The coming night seemed so peaceful and slow paced as the creatures of the night awoke for their routines. The only creature that wasn't at peace was the Lucario that treaded along an empty path. He staggered from one foot to the other, trying not to fall or trip with little energy he had left. He clutched his right arm in pain; a gnarled gash adorned it, which oozed fine drops of blood. The Lucario was injured, beaten, and weary, but he kept mumbling to himself, 'Have to keep going…Have to get away…'

Finally, the Lucario misjudged a step and fell to the ground like a rock. He kept his ruby red eyes open long enough to watch the last piece of the sun being sucked down below the horizon. It was the last thing he saw before the darkness enveloped him and dragged him into a world of nothingness.
