Bulbasaur. It was right before of an evolution and for me at the beginning Ash was excited about having an Ivysaur soon.
Well I didnΒ΄t watched that episode for ages...although at the end he accepted that his Bulba didnΒ΄t wanted to evolve and didnΒ΄t pushed it against itΒ΄s will....

It was close to the "mysterious garden" where an anual ceremony "hold" by a wild Venusaur happens and all straying Bulbas are evoling into an Ivysaur. One of my most loved episodes, becuase it fetured my three fav Pokemon at ONCE!
