       Background: Haru is a second child of a Pro-Hero, Drummer, and a nurse. After her quirk manifested at the age of 4, when she made her singing toy to lose sound, she was trained to become a helper of her father, and when she was 7 years old she was helping her father to fight villains. Those missions stopped after one villain tried to slice her throat. This resulted in a scar on the lower part of her neck and, of course, termination of her 'sidekick' activities. Chiharu was recommended to enroll to U.A, but decided not to go, choosing a small girls school near Nara that specialises in saving people instead.

To strangers Haru can seem cold and uninterested, but she becomes really interested and active when there are people to be saved or protected. She dislikes heroes, who only train to fight villains for money and glory, not caring about civilians suffering. Even if Haru dislikes somebody a lot, she won't be able to ignore this person if they are in danger.
