Description

Here is my entry for the Space Out Contest.

Working on a 32:9 format was unusual for me and quite challenging. I wish I had more time to do more.

Resources from NASA's stocks and BrotherGuy : fav.me/d66qrkw

Other stocks are from mine.

Hope you like it !

I have never used stocks before, and you put it together quite well.

Psyxis In reply to Cope57 [2019-10-07 17:09:59 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much for the comment. There were quite a lot of edits to make stocks fit together. I used to create Space art stuff without any external resources, then I changed my mind and start using NASA's pictures collection that gives a breath of realism imo.

By the way, you can download the image to get the original quality. The preview does not exactly show how the picture is suppose to look.

Brilliantly smooth, crisp with subtle shades and auroric colours. Great dynamism and scale. Definitely worth a second look. Could improve composition with additional effort -- quite a few focal points. But a very interesting scene.

Must admit that working on a 32:9 format was quite disturbing. But it was pretty interesting. Might do it again with a special highlight on the composition . Thank you very much for this quick review.

You're welcome. I think that the wide/tall formats have great potential for expansive compositions.

Awesome and just captured how much chunks of the moon broke off and could spell disaster for anyone living on the planet below

This really captures the sheer scale of the giant planet, an entire moon breaking apart still this far out from it being a visual representation of just how big a mass we're dealing with here, and those look like aurora's forming over the storm. Interesting weather going on down there!
