Also, one other thing I want to mention: if you're going to do a re-make of another picture that already exists, please give credit to the original artist. This looks extremely similar to the artwork for the G2 animated series, and you can't take credit for the entire piece.

Whoa, hold on there I'm not taking credit for the original at all, I was just making a funny remake based off of it with my friends. I don't know how to put other photos in the descriptions, I just thought everyone would know the original and know this wasn't.

All I'm saying is that it's important to put it in the description so everyone can see it.
A lot of people wouldn't know this was based off of something else unless it was posted, since not everyone knows what Bionicle is or that it even had a second season (much less anything animated).
This is to help save you any grief from copyright law, plus it is courteous to the artist who made the original as well, so they know you acknowledge their work.

I've acknowledged it in other places I've posted this, but like i said, I didn't know how to put the picture here.

Whether you post the picture or not, acknowledging the original piece and artist in the description is important, no matter how many times it's posted either here or somewhere else.

Well there's also the fact I did all of this myself, no tracing at all or anything like that so technically this is my work. I only positioned the characters in the same places and kept some of the same elements like the fire, sticks and similar background.

It's still not your original idea. You need to give the original artist credit for the idea, the background, general setting, character placements, etc. The only thing that is different from your piece and the other one is the characters and their colour palates.
You are still taking credit for someone else' work to a large degree, which is still stealing from them if you don't give them credit.
There is a reason different forms of media say things like "based on the book *____* by *____*" or "inspired by *____*"; they are giving credit to the originals creators for their contribution in making their work possible.

I was just trying to make some fanart and have fun, and I did credit the piece. I'm not taking credit for the original. I would never steal someone else's art!

Again, just put the credits in the description

It's called parody. You don't see Space balls giving credit to Star Wars, or Rick and Morty credit to Back to the future. It's because you'd have to be an idiot not to know it's a parody. It's common sense that this is a spoof of the Bionicle Roast picture. It's obviously a reference, you don't need to state what everybody already knows.

I still have third degree burns.

Pffft XD, usually the fire toa just starts the fire not actually being the fire.

*Chuckles* Like the take on the recent piece. Keeps true to the piece it's based on, but still has your unique style.
