I used to like Luigi in the early games only because of the color difference. Learning the backstory and personality? Love him even more.
He's afraid and cowardly, yes. And yet he does all the same dangerous stuff Mario does. He's braver than Mario because of how much he has to overcome, and yet he still barely gets a smidge of reward. Not to mention the fact that he's taller, a better jumper, gifted with powers of a thunder god and reality distortion (look it up), and has faced down a house of the undead.
Luigi rules.

It bothers me that Luigi gets portrayed as cowardly. Who was it who had Mario's back in the beginning. It was always Luigi. In those early games Luigi did just as much as Mario did. Player two all the way.

You're right, though the way I see it, it's the fact that he's been given a cowardly persona makes all those things all the greater. Despite being easily scared, he overcomes it and still achieves greatness beside Mario. That's what makes me like him over Mario. P2s UP!!

Dude, this looks freaking awesome! I love how Luigi looks like himself but in a more adult anime fashion, he looks like he could be a contender in the MvC3 game lol. Please tell me you plan doing more like this from Smash Bros?!
