This is great. It's such a shame Leon doesn't get a lot of love especially as he, in my opinion, is the precursor to Kain's character (what with the whole betrayal and becoming an ally again theme).
It's great to see some fanart of him since he's so overlooked and you have done the character justice. Excellent work.

You know, I didn't know they already had a guy named Leon in Final Fantasy--in Kingdom Hearts Squall starts going by that name

Yup, this is the original Leon. Β His name in Japan is Leonhart as well, so I think Squall in both FF8 and KH is a callback to this Leon.

Funny that you said that. Caius Ballad, the main villain of FF XIII-2, had his design inspired in Leon and well,EVERYTHING in that guy is purple, except the skin. Even the hair!
