A wonderfully scenic idea that with some tweaking could be quite picturesque.
The basic idea here is a glorious one - if a little cliched (but nothing wrong with that, there's a reason they're cliches.) A few composition and timing things hold it back, however.
Compositionally, the shot would be stronger if part of the boat hadn't been sliced off. The rocks create a nice foreground, however that patch of gravel is a bit unsightly and could probably have been avoided by a slight adjustment of position.
A suggestion with regards to timing: while it's always tempting to shoot sunsets straight into the setting sun, often the most amazing skies actually arrive after the sun dips below the horizon. This also makes it a little bit easier to expose for, as well, because you won't have a big ball of light throwing the rest of the shot out.
