All of my comics are right to left because I used to draw a lot of Dōjinshis when I was still in school. And the first comic I ever uploaded was in this direction too so... let's say I am not used to draw it in the different direction anymore XD Feels wrong to me, so I made it part of my style

But I assure you, I don't have any characters that are transgender. ^^ If it's called 'she' it is a 'she' and vice versa

Also if for the "she" one, I have a hard time about that because sometimes I don't know when *insert random character here* is talking to a certain character. Only probably because it's backwards or probably because there are like 4 characters on 1 page. lol

I know it gets confusing especially with the ferals because I really tend to keep it the natural way where you mostly also can't tell if that rabbit or dog in front of you is male or female XD
Some tips I have with my style (which sadly do not apply here because I use the Lion King Style XD) Females always have very thin eyebrows and visible eyelashes. Like, comparing Clover and Riku from Bloody War. Clover has visible eyelashes and simple thin stripes as eyebrows, Riku has thick brows and no visible eyelashes. Also Riku has something between his legs that Clover doesn't XD Another thing that I couldn't use here because of the way Disney castrates their characters XD
With my feral characters this is the most secure way to see if it is male or female.

As I said, all those are not really visible in this comic. XD Which is why it is even more difficult here. The lions are easy. No mane - female. The hyenas... well. Only thing that could apply here is bigger -> female XD But yeah. I may need to adjust the style a bit so it is better visible.
I do too, that's why I chose it.
I just don't like this general policy of not showing any kind of genitals on animals... it is part of them.
And nobody would run after any dog or horse or other pet out there and put a censorship on them. XD
This is not only Disney that does this.

Well maybe you can put whoever is in the page put their name and gender in the description, I've seen some people do that.

I don't know, maybe I just leave it as it is and give the females some bigger stripes around their eyes so it looks like eyelashes...
Maybe I reached a point where I just want to play with it. Like... 'Guess that characters gender and you get a cookie when you get it right' XD
I guess I am just too bad of an artist to display it right while still keeping my own style...

Yeah, that would be the best option. I am still striving against it because I don't want to get it too much in the area of the Lion Guard... because I really dislike that series.
I know Jasiri has eyelashes and stuff... but I don't know. I really liked the original Lion King style where as a kid I always thought Shenzi was a male with a very high voice XDD
Well, I will think about it. Since it will be some time until Two of a kind gets new pages, maybe I will change my mind and just give them eyelashes so it's easier to spot them.

Yeah XD I don't know if you know the German voice of Shenzi, it is similar to the original actually and the woman who voiced her is actually pretty popular in Germany, but still... I had no idea at first XD Since I already had seen males being voiced by females it was an option for me so I took it XDDDD
I both like and dislike it. I think they could have done a better job with the lore, like suddenly changing the look on the cub from movie to movie, Kiara being portrait very week which actually gave her a lot of hate and the worst for me was the color-change and that they added purring to the lions... lions don't purr DX . But still I like Kovu, I REALLY like overprotective Simba XD (which suddenly disappeared in The Lion Guard O_o I mean, serious? In one episode he went away and let Kiara alone? That's not the same Simba XD) and I liked Zira as a villain, who was thought through very well. And the songs were very good too. Not all of them but most of them.
I really wish I had more time to draw on pages, but there is my study and other stuff in life that pretty much keeps me from it. And the fact that I have too many comics XD But that will change sooner or later since one of them will maybe be finished this year. (I will try to at least ^^) So it will only be 3 active comics anymore

While I do think that being overprotective is not the best way of parenting, he did a lot of things right. But mostly I liked him because I found him very accurate to the old Simba.
The fact that he didn't get to be the perfect dad fits into the whole story, considering that he wasn't raised by his own family who could have taught him how to handle his children the lion way.
I may be overthinking that but I simply don't like it when the people who make those films or series don't seem to know about their own story, or simply don't care.
This is what makes me even more feel about The Lion Guard as just another way for Disney to grab money and nothing else.
