Well... Today I've passed the most frightening test in my life - probability theory) The subject is not difficult but my lecturer is so malicious... that's why I used to find this subject so terrible)))
Hmm... Wery soon I'm going to pass Scanning probe microscopy and that's why I won't be here on DA for a long time...

(It would be great if you inform me about blunders in my messages)

Yaaaaay! Well done you! Aww yeah, having a bad teacher can really put you off a subject. I had a cooking teacher who was the same. 'The incredible hulk with a rolling pin' we used to call her
Wow, that sounds complicated o_O Oh no! How long will you be gone! I'm going to miss you and our little chats!

Lol, ok, I'll try my best. Do you mean that you want me to correct your grammer? Well everything seems good in this message!

You are clever! For someone who is not English, you speak the language almost fluently
Well, in case I don't get the chance to tell you in advance, good luck with your exams! ^_^

Articles are my BIG(!) problem)))) Exept my vocabulary))) You must live for a long time with native speaker of English to get rid of that problem... By the way, my last normal English lesson was in 2004 when I was 13!!!)))))
Thanks, I'll try to do it best!

Yeah, I can imagine it would be easier to learn the language when you experience it in everyday life in that country. Have you ever been to England then? When you were 13??? Wow! I can barely remember any of the german I learnt when I was 13!!!

Wow that's so cool! A shouting face, ooooh....spooooky... o_O Hehehe, thats cool how you were going to draw a ghost on it and then there was already one on there! I bet that freaked you out! X-D

I have my own story, but its quite long I'm afraid. You see, four things happened to me in the same day! If there is any part of this story that you need me to explain a bit more or translate, let me know Anyway, here goes...

I experienced my first ghost whilst on holiday not too long ago. We stopped off at a B&B that I think was from the 1700s. We went to a pub called the Trouble House to have something to eat, and the pub is supposed to be haunted. There was even an old newspaper article on the wall that said about its history, and how it is supposidley haunted by a lady in blue who only ever shows herself to women. As we sat down opposite a fireplace, I noticed in the chair opposite me across the room was a deep blue, semi transparent mass shaped like a torso and hips. The wierd thing was that it was transparent enough to let the chair behind it be partially vsible, but the blue mass was blocked by the table in front of it, so it was as though it was sitting in between in the chair. Since I only saw it out of the corner of my eye, I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me, so I looked at it directly and it was still there. My dad stepped in front of me (annoyingly) and when he moved back it was gone. A little bit later, a group of people came into the pub, and a woman sat in the same chair I had seen the blob in (right on the blue lady :-S). A little while later, a strange mist formed about four feet above her. It looked like cigerette smoke, but it definatley wasn't because smoking in pubs is banned. It moved from the right to the left, then vanished very quickly. I tried to find a rational explanation, so watched the fire for a while to see if the smoke from that was similar but it wasn't. Not only was it the wrong colour (the strange smoke was pure white) but it was too far away from the fire to have been created by the fire itself. A little while after that, a brilliant, concentrated spot of light appeared on the wall beside me, snaked across in an 'S' shape and vanished again. The strange thing was, as the light hit different surfaces and levels (i.e. the wall and a picture frame) it didn't distort like light would, so it was almost as if it was free floating. This ruled out the possibility of it being a torch or anything like that. Later that night, back at the B&B I went to bed. The bed was against a wall, but the sheets were not tucked in down the side (I'm telling you this so that you know that it was not me turning over and pulling the sheets with me that caused this). I was lying with my back to the wall when all of a sudden I felt a heavy push into my back, as though someone had pushed the sheets right into my shoulder with their hand. I heard it too, so I looked around, and the bedsheets had moved and were right up against me. You could even see where they had been pressed down on the bed. O_O

Whew! So, there you go, that's my story, and that is why I am now a strong believer of the paranormal Spooky, right?

Wow... That's really spooky... in spite of I am two-meter robust goth, I would ran away))) It is not so scary when you're not alone in front of paranormal, so I suppose if I were you I could feel a strange pleasure in haunted pub... But not alone in my room.

What is the B&B?

Cyber-Centauri In reply to Procrust [2010-06-04 15:42:48 +0000 UTC]

Lol! I loved it! I wasn't scared at all! In fact, I was smiling all day because it was so exciting! When that thing with the bedsheets happened, I wasn't scared either. My parents were snoring like a couple of buffalo in the bed beside me (we were sharing a family room) so I just stayed awake looking for shadow people and apparitions in the room I absolutley love the show Ghost Hunters, which was what got me interested in ghosts and stuff in the first place, so I guess that got me prepared for it I'd love to investigate the paranormal field, you know, set up cameras, voice recorders and everything. It would be cool to get some video and audio evidence. I'd absolutly love to catch some EVPs :3 (electronic voice phenomena--- voices caught on recorders that weren't heard at the time of recording in case you didn't know ) I would LOVE to stay at a haunted hotel! That would be so cool!

There is a place in our town centre called the Ancient High House that is famous for being haunted. It was built in the 1500s and is said to be haunted by a shopkeeper and a young girl I think. I heard a great story about a group of American tourists who visited it. After looking round the house they told one of the workers that they liked the actor who was dressed in period clothes in one of the rooms, but of course, the worker told them that there wasn't any actors. Wooooooo! Spooooky! o_O Hehehe

You're two meters tall? Really? wow! So does this mean that I am braver than a two meter tall, robust goth? Awesome sauce!

Do you mean 'what is a B&B' or 'what was it called'?

Cyber-Centauri In reply to Procrust [2010-06-04 16:01:01 +0000 UTC]

A bed and breakfast You can go on holiday to them. They are owned by people who often live in a seperate part of the house. The houses have many rooms for tourists to stay in, and the home owners make you breakfast too Thats why its called a bed and breakfast ^_^ Its quite hard to explain but I hope that helped
