i changed the background to a more suitable and dramatic way that also show that's in the nightfeather use to play when ever before she strikes deadly. she use usually poisoned weapons, whatever is suitable. but she can fight 10 man with her bare hand. hard training since childhood mark her hands.
i tried and used a lot of new technices to do it.
and i like to say thanks to nathie in many ways. i also used some of his skin brushes and no 1 brush of his itchi bitchy brushes

there is so much mood and details in this picture. im wondering why its not so much appreciated, unlike simpler works?

the hood is in actual a very light fabric somethings like a cashmere or so, the difficulty is to look it ligth and flushy in the night. so i compromised it.
hmm the light. in the face portion of the hood have the light ongoing and in the right of the face lesser light. in the back i did intentionaly a bit light to give a better contrast to the back ground. but i think i could adjust there a bit. and especialy the portion in the left arm is also very brigth. so i will work a bit on it when my newest work will be done.

great work man. the bacgrund looks just asome, like the painted efekt.
the instrument it briliant to, the smal dragont on the head is a gerat take.
the efekt on the houd doset work to wel, it looks a bit weard.
the skin efekt on the oder hand works nicly.
it maby be an ide to not have the light eges all the way aront the hood, it wod make the light dirtion look more right.

Beautifull painting. The coloring is just breathtaking! There's just a little something that's botering me a bit about the feathering of the hand and the edges of the face. But great job!

I think you did an outstanding job on the skin values, and colors. I do think however, in relation to the instrument, there needs to be more contrast to make it look like she's holding it. Also a bit of color adjustment to match the background. But still, however you did the skin, I'm so envious!

thanks so much for your kind words. it a tricky thing to make a night impression in a drawing. the character and instrument was drawn in a day mood 1st and just after in the last i adjusted to the night atmosphere. also the hand is a little bit to bright and lack of shadow. i learned if i do such a thing i have to leave it for a week or so and then you start to see the details you didn't recognize it right away. but definitely i will make still small adjustment.
