Another tumblr ask cause nowadays I only draw what ppl tell me lol So This is probably the most requested or asked about Prinack idea I get, so I finally got around to designing Prinny and Jack as Gems.So here’s Gold and Cinnabar. They’re both metal related minerals so I’m thinking that they would be more of the mechanical workers of the whole Gem hierarchy. They would build spaceships and battle armor, stuff made from metal.

They should be super heroes rather than villains instead. Because to me, Prinack should be saving the Xiaolin Warriors and the Powerpuff Girls at the same time! That would be awesome!!! But still that prinny in that hot suit looks sooooo good on her and has a sexy booty! Jack Spicer has picked the right choice to make her as a girlfriend! Nice work.

Since Prinny/Gold is rare af she should be like the one to over look the work done on the projects and Jack/Cinnabar can be like a pearl but now hands on and can better protect it's leader/owner, since jack is owned by prinny

I'm curious if metals count as Gems. I know they're both minerals and all, but metals aren't crystals.

Most jaspers aren't really in crystal form either, neither is lapis lazuli. There more of polished rocks so that's why I think that any valuable mineral/gemstone counts.

I like the picture, but I don't quite like the reasoning. Gems and jewels aren't always in crystal form, but they are always precious stones, not precious metals. And stones are impure, composed of varying chemical compounds, not just pure elements like gold. However, several gems have metal in their chemical make up. All rubies, sapphires, and some forms of garnet have aluminum in their chemical formulae. And I have seen varying qualities of cinnabar, which you noted is based on a metal as it is a mercury ore, some are in crystal form, some are just gemstone form.
This picture made me look up a golden gemstones, and the first I found was sphene. Sphene is the gemstone form of titanite, and some of its crystals are gold in color. Titanite is also composed of titanium, calcium, and silicon (CaTiSiO5), so you could still argue that that she would have technical and industrial role in the Interstellar Gem Empire.

Here is how I see there origin: they are more recent Gems and since they work together a lot, they eventually develop feelings for each other. So they decided to leave so there can be together. This brands them as traitors by Blue Diamond. (Blue Diamond is in charge of architecture, Yellow Diamond in charge of military.) They hide on earth and cross paths with the Crystal Gems. I should commission this maube
