The return of Meg's little puppets. Also... way to be coy, "Red Death."
Hope everyone had a great holiday. I'm glad to be back and updating. As I suspected I would be I was far too busy to update during the holidays. I notice a tremendous change in my mood and disposition when I go for a while without drawing. It's very therapeutic, and I find that when I go for a few days without taking some time to draw that I become short-tempered, and moody.

Tee hee. Thank you very much. I really wanted to depict the sort of eerie, yet romantic, nature of their meeting. I would like to go back and color the two of them in that scene, actually.
And yes! Meg's puppets! I am enjoying writing the interactions between Erik and Christine in the more recent part of story, but I miss Meg's little puppets, and observations and comments. But rest assured there will be plenty more of Meg's puppet theater... lol.

It would be a dream come true for me too, on three accounts. The Masque of Red Death is my favorite short story from Poe, and not just because I saw Gerik dressed up as the pivotal character. I actually like it; I'm an Emmy Rossum lookalike irl; and, of course, I'm an avid Phangirl and proud of it.
