Gimp has a lot of different brushes you can download for things like grass and fur much like Photoshop does. Also, overlaying textures really helps out when you want to do something more realistic. Gimp can do almost anything Photoshop can do, the main difference is Gimp is like the poor man's Photoshop, so it doesn't look as pretty as Photoshop. But hey, at least it's free.

Download them? Is it free? And yeah, that's sort of true ; Photoshop is a very great program! Even though it cost some money... and yes it is x3 but I still dont know how to use it correctly U.u thank you! :3

Most brushes I've come across are free, you can even find some on DA as well with some searching. Although it's easier to find Photoshop brushes because more people use that.
You'll probably have to look up a tutorial on how to install the brushes into the program, but I'm pretty sure the process is simple.

Unfortunately no, you can't use Photoshop brushes on Gimp. Pretty sure the coding is different for each program. But since Photoshop is used by more artists, more people make brushes with Photoshop users in mind, at least from what I've seen. So if you already have Photoshop it may be better to just stick with using that.
And it's fine by the way, I don't mind your questions. ^_^
