This was captured extremely well. This was a very opportune shot.

Komodo's are hard to capture gracefully...but you've done just that.

Thank you that's very kind.. I found the key to photographing them was to go early on a hot summers day and the are usually having a peaceful sunbath

Great shot. Where was this taken, I'll be uploading a shot or two of London Zoo's Komodo, Raja, later today, there's a great tongue shot amongst them.

It was my first time. It is very good, I was very impressed. Good enclosures bar one or two (one of the Sumatran Tiger enclosures was appalling). A great range of animals, possibly the best reptile house I have seen yet. It was just a shame the African Hunting Dogs were off show as I have never seen them and was really looking forward to seeing them.
I would highly recommend it to anyone.

it kinda takes on a few colours in different lights it seems..just the way the scales reflect
