"Mom?" Boaz said to his mom. For once he had a day off from his training with Moswen, to spend time with his mom. He enjoyed every minute with Kadija because she seemed to be the only one who could truly understand and relate to him. She was his best friend, he wouldn't admit it to anyone but deep down, she was.
"Yes Boaz?" Kadija replied. She was laying down on her back in relaxation of the afternoon, enjoying her son's company.
"Will we always be together?" Boaz asked. Kadija was confued by the question.
"Well not always but most the time, yes. I can assure you though one day you will hit an age when you won't want to be around me at all." Kadija chuckled thinking of what he may be like in his teen years,.
Boaz rubbed against his mother with a purr (I know lions don't purr), "Ah come on momma, I'll always want to be with you! Even when I'm older!"
Kadija felt happy inside and she chuckled again. "That's sweet Boaz."
"It's true momma! I always love you! No matter what."
Kadija smiled and pushed her head against his small chest. "I love you too, Boaz"
