Ori is the textbook definition of an idea, perfect Glenmore doe. Submissive and quiet, she never speaks unless addressed directly or given permission to speak by the stag she has the pleasure of being with. She never questions a stags orders and believes that does are meant to be pampered and tended for by their lords. The ways of battle and war are 'stag matters' that a lady dare not trifle in. The mere idea of witnessing a fight makes the doe feel faint and should she spot an alternation beginning she will quickly turn her head or find an excuse to leave.
In her mind, does are the great mothers and beings of lover and tenderness in the world. Tending to fawns and ensuring a strong and healthy generation is the greatest goal a doe can strive for. Stags are meant to be their opposites, a powerful, brute force able to take down any obstacle in their path.
Below her quiet and tranquil exterior lies a viper ready to strike.
While Ori would never act out against a stag nor a princess (her superiors) she believes herself the best of her own rank and won't hesitate to tear down another lady should she spot a weakness or defect. She doesn't hesitate to claw her way to the top of a situation even if it means using and abusing (verbally or with gossip) the other ladies within the herd.
She lusts for power, to place herself at the top of Glenmore society by any means necessary in order to prove just how perfect she is.
While still young, she's learned how to weave her tricks and spring her traps. She's come to realize that simply 'knowing' things is almost as potent and powerful as having a rack of massive tines upon her head. Gossip is her hidden blade. Silent and nimble the doe has learned how to spy and observe, mastering the art body language and learning how to read lips from afar. It's amazing to the doe what lengths some will go to in order to keep one bad secret from rising to the surface and Glenmore is full of them.
Despite all her hidden viciousness, Chi is a very tender and delicate doe. Built like a glass doll she takes her time when moving through the herd and through the woods. She often jokes that a strong enough wind could sweep her away if it wasn't for her magic keeping her grounded. She can't stand the sight of blood but at the same time has no qualms with vocal arguments or the exchange of heated words. She almost enjoys arguing as it helps sharpen her own abilities to respond with wit and tenacity.
Fears: Taint, failing to produce powerful offspring, failing to be claimed by a noble stag, being replaced by a younger, more beautiful doe
Strengths: Master manipulator, lip reading, astute observer.
Appearance: With a coat so white it almost seems white, it sometimes catches the light throwing off the faintest of purple gleams. She's complimented by a sparse fecking of spots around her hind quarters which she keeps obsessively clean. She lacks fangs or tines but makes up for it with a heavy decoration of blossoms woven into her mane and tail.
The doe has grown her mane and tail out long while she sports fluffy, long feathers along her legs.
History:
Ori was the first born between her father, Lord Ardan, and mother, Lady Mandevilla. A strict household, her mother took to naming all her children after flowers or flowering plants as she was the proud tender of their glade garden. Plant husbandry was a talent and passion the mother and fawn shared as Ori took to tending the plants at a very early age. Her father had a strict hand in her raising, making it clear from the beginning that the best Ori could ever do would to grow beautiful and birth strong sons for her future mate.
Ironically her father has yet to have a son himself, something that the stag still fumes about but has been less grumpy about in the last few years. Ori became a big sister when Canna was born and then the twins Tilly and Ginger followed. Ori never bonded much with her sisters, seeing them as 'competition' and often leading them into trouble which she was never accused of.
The doe practiced how to manipulate and trick with her sisters while learning the art of beauty and grace from her mothers plants.
By the age of 3 she was having more luck with the flowers than even her mother who was quick to seek out a teacher for the young prodigy. Ori has a love for flowers and has even expanded her own section of the garden to include crossbred flowers that she has started to experiment with. She longs to corner the market on the newest and most rare blossoms in an attempt to gain some fame for herself and attention from the high royals.
The doe has also taken up to collecting gemstones, something she often begs her father to bring home from his days out talking politics with the greater lords. Always willing to spoil his first born, Ori has amassed quite the collection of stones she places in distinct patterns around her garden. She refers to it as her 'Gemstone Garden' and uses it as a place of refuge and mediation.
She claims that sleeping or simply resting within the upright stones channels earth magic and youth, though it's not entirely clear if it DOES help. (She'll go red in the face trying to convince you it does something).
One of her...side projects she doesn't speak of is her mild interest in poisonous plants. While her studies are strictly academic, she feels there is nothing wrong with knowing what sort of plants can ruin your day, silence your enemies or keep your loved ones safe.
Obsessed with her beauty and health, Ori also practices what can only be described as 'Fawn Tai Chi' or even Yoga. Each morning she takes time to check on her plants before taking sanctuary in her Gemstone Garden to stretch, breath and pray.
She prays to Áillte for health, love and beauty.
She prays to Earrann for strong sons and great magic to pass on to them.
Finally, she prays to Óganach for to keep the great lords of the Oak strong and for the wisdom to do just as he wishes of her.

759 of the New age: 5 Years BEFORE Birth
Spring: Princess Nuala returns to regrow the oak!
762 of the New age: 2 years BEFORE Birth
Fall: King Drustan flees and the tournament for the kings throne begins!! The inner herd drama shakes the doe from her depression a descent bit as her more mature eyes watch the drama of her time unfold.
- The return of Nuala and Donn brings with it a herd shake down like no other.
- Ori's father throws his support behind Rafe who is the ONLY stag to keep the herds traditional values in mind.
- King Rafe begins his rule after winning the tournament as well. Peace returns...for the time being...
Winter: Ori's father wins his mother from another lord in a duel. He quickly adds her to his harem and takes the maiden doe as his.
764 of the New age: Newborn!
Summer: Chi is born in the beginning of summer! Her mother is so excited she brings spring back to the glade for her daughter.
765 of the New age: 1 year old
Spring: Ori becomes a big sister when her mother gives birth to another filly. Her father is disappointed that Mandevilla has failed to give him a son but she assures her mate they are both still young.
Summer: Ori begins helping her mother in the garden though it's mostly to keep her sister from trampling the plants. She begins to show an interest in gardening however and often asks her mother questions.
766 of the New age: 2 years old
Spring: As spring arrives, Ori expects her mother to bear another fawn but is surprised when she doesn't. The doe is pleased however and takes the chance to milk more attention from her mother and father. She expresses an interest in meeting colts, lying to gain her fathers approval who is thrilled that his little girl seems ready to grow up. He takes her out with her on a few meet and greets with other young lords. She plays the shy, sweet filly with the colts; never doing much more than giggling and fluttering her eye lashes at them.
Summer: Ori convinces her sister Canna that bee's don't sting and slips away before the doe enrages a nest. Luckily, the bee's aren't too dangerous and the younger filly comes away with a few tiny welts. Ori later works with her mother to make a slave to help with her itchiness.
Fall: Ori ask's her father about how he won her mother. The two discuss the 'birds and bees' to the extent of how does are won and lost in Glenmore. Arden plants the idea in his daughters head that she should be honored if she's ever won by another stag since it's means she's moving up in life.
767 of the New age: 3 years old
Spring: Mandevilla realizes that her daughter is gifted in the ways of plant husbandry and seeks a more advanced teacher to work with her. It comes at the perfect time as she is heavily pregnant at the time.
- Mandevilla gives birth to twins!! The labor is difficult for the doe and while both her fawns are, again, fillies, Arden is pleased simply because she bore him TWO fawns at once. Ori returns home to meet to two fillies who seem perfectly ordinary to her. She's not impressed.
Summer: Ori branches off from her mothers garden and makes her own mini grove. She makes a point to her sister that they would loose an eye if they step hoof inside it. She begins by transplanting some of her mother blooms before starting to experiment on how to cross pollinate them.
- Ori also learns that she has inherited magical talents from her parents. Her fathers favoritism for her grows.
Fall: Arden returns home with a gemstone necklace for Mandevilla! The gleaming gems inspire Ori who asks for him to start bringing home raw stones for her.
Winter: Ori meets an elderly Lady who teaches her the importance of maintaining your health. She claims to be over 40 years old and teaches Ori that her secret to her health is not just good eating but meditation and stretching. Ori adds lessons from this doe to her list of tutors.
768 of the New age: 4 years old
Spring: Ori finds out, thank to the babbling mouths of her littlest sisters, that a fawnhood bully of hers has turned out to be a magical dud. With this loaded information Ori strikes back in revenge and leaks the information to her father. He, in turn, spreads rumors that the fawn is a crossbreed or at the very least, not of the sires bloodline. The young filly and mother and kicked out of the glade and Ori earns the pleasure of watching the pair flee to the outskirts of the Royal glades.
Summer: The elder doe whom Ori was learning Tai Chi and Meditation from vanishes. Ori suspects she's died but doesn't snoop into the situation as she's learned all she wanted. She begins developing her own stretches on her own time.
Fall: With her schedule a little more free, Ori seeks a magicial tutor but is a little surprised when her father offers to give her some pointers. He steers her towards magic more on the feminine side however, meaning plant based skills. Ori doesn't mind however and enjoys the lessons, dirt is messy after all!
Winter: With an eye for future, Ori begins to anticipate the next year. She knows that, turning 5, means she may come into her first heat. Excitement builds that she may be chosen to be apart of a stags harem.
769 of the New age: 5 years old
Spring: Spring blooms and with it comes the first of her hybrid plants! While the differences in the blooms are not drastic at first, Ori has hope that the plants will continue to change over time and become unique plants all there own.
- Ori catches one of the twins stealing river rocks from Cana's collection. The doe uses the information to strong arm her into doing cleaning her glade for a few weeks in exchange for not telling.
Summer: With her hopes growing for the fall, Ori expresses interest in tagging along with her father once again. She dresses herself up and zips her lips as the stag parades her through the glades proudly. He makes sure to tell any lord who asks that his daughter is now FIVE and a gem for anyone to obtain.
Fall: Ori's plans for strutting through the glades, seeking a harem, are put on temporary hold. Her mother falls gravely ill and most of the glade remains in place to tend to her. Ori in particular takes most of the duties on herself, not trusting her sisters to do anything right.
- Ori takes the task on with pride, mostly because she doesn't notice herself go into heat and doesn't want the shame of it coming back on her father.
Late Winter: With her mother on the mend, Ori venture outside the glade a little more. However, seeing as rut is nearing it's end she doesn't expect to be snatched up into a harem just yet. Perhaps next year will prove to her lucky year?

How might Ori interact with your fawnling?:
Glenmore Royal Stags: Subservient and submissive, Ori will never deny a stags order or request. She finds them all honorable, handsome and admirable and hopes to be chosen by a noble one some day.
Glenmore Guards: Almost as noble as lords, these stags maintain the safety of the herd. Ori respects the guards who had chosen to serve the King's family and princess's more than the average soldier.
Glenmore Royal Does: Her "equals" but not really. Ori looks down her nose at most other does, especially dark royals. They might as well be commoners!
Glenmore Princesses: Goddesses on earth! These beautiful does are idols to Ori. She longs to work alongside one and if she hadn't promised to uphold the family honor, she would have loved to have become a hoofmaiden to a princess.
Commoners: Ori doesn't even acknowledge these low-lings unless they serve a purpose. Hoofmaidens can be tolerated but only so much... She doesn't believe they should speak unless first addressed themselves.
Fawns: Precious ones, the future. While Ori isn't entirely sure she's ready to be a mother just yet, she generally loves fawns. She prefers colts over fillies however since a deep rooted fear of hers it to be replaced by a younger, prettier doe.
