I love the misty attribute. It makes the photo softer on the eyes. The colours are beautiful, not too bright or demanding and have a nice contrast. The soft and dull greens and pinks really compliment each other.

I don't usually see those flowers in photo's, especially unbloomed.
It's refreshing to see.
A flower doesn't need to be open to be beautiful, that's what I see here.

I also compliment you on the composition. The subject isn't slap bang in the middle of the shot, which means you have to slightly readjust your eyes. Having done this, it made me, personally, appreciate the picture more.

The only thing I would say is, maybe you could have made the buds in focus, slightly more sharp? It may be just me and my eyesight. ^_^

Vision - There isn't much to say in this category, but the "misty" theme is a good one for flowers. Especially with being taken in Washington (where I currently live), mist is common, but not in the use of floral photography. Going along with the idea of mist (a blanket), the buds are closed and secure. That is a neat parallel.

Originality - While these flowers aren't as commonly captured, the pink and green shades are pretty similar to many other floral shots. Still, the multiple, closed buds are not as cliche, and you've kept the color editing simple, unlike other artists.

Technique - You have some great composition, using the rule of thirds well (even though the focus is close to the middle, vertically, the rest of the flowers' placement tricks the eye). As mentioned above, you don't seem to have edited the colors much, which gives a more honest feel. Although, it seems you may have added some soft focus atop the original focus, but that keeps the mist theme appropriate. Blurring the farther flowers is a good thing, and it's a pity that many don't, making the focus really vague and confusing.

Impact - I like this photograph! As a Washington resident, I enjoy seeing native flowers, and this is a very accurate photograph. I'm not a big fan of sugar-coated photos, so this is a refreshing sight.

This is an amazing photograph, with good use of a shallow depth of field and nice placement of the focus part of the image. I would suggest a lower ISO speed (200 is normally good enough for most applications). Great shot though - maybe in the future look at getting yourself a 50mm prime lens, I'd love to see what you could do with that

Wow. Very well done. I love how you have such a small focal point and aperture. Great job
