Was that actor in Castle as Beckett's inspirational trainer/boss when she was a rookie? He shows up in a couple of episodes and I couldn't help but think the same - "OMG it's Zaeed!" - I think if there's a universe where there's a man who's a cross between him and Robin Sachs that might just be the universe where Mass Effect is *real* and Zaeed Massani *exists*.
Constructive criticism - think you got the face not quite wide enough for the actor... but maybe you were going for a compromise between the two? Also, I think Zaeed has actually got really green eyes [I may or may not have spent 20 minutes faffing with camera angles on Tuchanka in the hospital area getting an angle where I could see his eyes close up] although to be fair yours might be a little more realistic. Lastly, if I were doing him young, I'd do him minus the scars...

But these things aside, as a face it's brilliant work. Armour and everything else too. Even the choice of blurry background works really well - makes it look like a photograph. Actually it's so good it could actually almost pass for a photograph - just in case you let my constructive criticism get to you. So that means everything from wrinkles to iris patterns to light-spots-on-wet-surfaces to shadowing is spot on. Beautiful work.
