Description
So many of us forget the heroics of the little people in times of crisis. Certainly, Ryan has proven herself one of those heroic little (very little) people. When all 152 centimeters of Ryan Palmer flesh and bones wasn't going to free the stuck Kushnacksmobile, she resorted to her hidden powers to ensure everybody has access to delicious rolled pizza when a blizzard has shut down every delivery option in the city. Imagine those people, like the shocked women seeing somebody sprout wings and fly, who trapped inside by the snow, with no groceries and certainly no Dead Vegan Crunch to power their way through the whiteout? Ryan could have stayed home with her stash, her warm girlfriend, and a Netflix playlist, but, no, she putt on a puffy coat with insufficient coverage and flew to the rescue. All hail the unsung heroes of this dreadful storm!

Sidenote, if you're thinking of messing with Ryan because she's so small and unassuming (ha!), let this be a lesson—that girl is strong, especially when she brings in her demonic heritage. (Madeline and I are wondering if we've been wrong about Ryan being a succubus; as she's matured, she's not really seducing people and sex with her hasn't killed anybody, or stolen souls, so maybe she's some kind of off-brand angel for a new god. Theology isn't our strong suite.)

Modo was a hero here, too, quickly crafting chains for Ryan to use to pull the Kushnacksmobile out fo the drift. Daz and Iray for some reason decided it would be fun to watch wee ol' Ryan push her huge food truck out of the snow, but didn't bother to help. They did do photo kind of stuff, though, so at least there is a record of Ryan's heroics. Photoshop developed the negatives.

Some credits: KindredArts gave me a pre-release version of his Iray Blizzard (OUT NOW: www.daz3d.com/iray-blizzard ), which provided almost all of the snow effects—including the cold breath and the snow drifts. Really easy to use, including the snow effects on Iphqazibi's jeans, which turned out great given all I did is put on a geoshell and use one of KA's shaders. I did use another technique for the body of the Kushsnacks mobile.

In the there is no substitute for Modo (except another 3D modeling package) category, there's no way I could have done this without Modo—the chains are procedural meshes following a curve, so I could wrap them around Ryan's hands and the bumper without having to deal with hundreds of bones and joints.
