You're very welcome! Keep up the great work - your models are great to work with, with great
textures and excellent topology!

You're very welcome! You have nothing to be insecure about with the topology! I haven't had a
chance to play with any of your newer weapons yet, but I have played with the swords and
axes in the Fantasy Weapons Collection and I have zero complaints about the topology. There's
a nice flow to the quads and there are plenty of material zones to play with, which I really like!
My pet peeves are disastrous topology, not enough resolution in the mesh and a single material
group for the entire object. I mean, really, it isn't asking too much to have the blade and shaft
separate material zones to make customisation easier. There are so many assets in my content
library that look promising on the surface, but as soon as you look under the hood they're very
difficult to do anything with because of the way they were made.
Keep doing what you're doing! My only 'complaint' is that I would like to see you create MORE
blades! lol You can never have too many blades in your library, after all!

Thank you, again
Yeah, I can't understand the lack of material zones, either (well, I guess in game industry it makes more sense). That's why I always try to make the mat zones from the end user's pov. It's really easy to set up multiple materials in Daz Studio (unless they use different textures) so that's not an excuse.
There are never such a thing as too many blades! I love swords, so more blades will come at time to time, you can count on it

No problem!
Yeah, cutting corners like that might make more sense in the games industry when you need
to milk every ounce of processing power from the system running the game because it has to
handle everything, but in Poser and DS? Nope. It doesn't make sense at all! Even just an extra
one or two material zones would have made all the difference with making models more user
friendly. I just can't understand how the vendors managed to texture the models they created
with only a single material zone without swearing up a storm. On the flipside, when you've had
to fight with low res meshes and not enough material zones, you know exactly what not to do
when you start creating your own models.
A blade for every occasion needs to be a thing! lol I'm very happy to hear that there are more
blades will be coming. Guns are great... but you don't see many elves sporting assault rifles!

Assault elves armed with machine guns... Hmmm, that would be a sight to see for sure Β

lol Indeed! The battle for Middle Earth could have looked quite different if the Elves were running
around with machine guns! Then again, if the Elves had machine guns, the Orcs would have too...
it would have been slaughter at Helms Deep with so many Uruk-hai so heavily armed.

Hehehe! The reinforcements that arrived with Gandalf would have taken one look at the host,
"Oh bugger" and flee as fast as they could! Preferably before the Uruk's noticed they were
there...

Thank you! It's actually quite fun to work with all the details if there's a good reference. Some of the dimensions are a bit off, so it's not 100% accurate (there's a noticeable error in the carry handle in this pic, but I've already fixed it in the actual model).
And thanks for the fav too!

Lol Iβm in the same boat. Gotta kick my butt in gear fight my headache from the frustration of tutorials that are horribly paced and not for beginners, and move on.
