I love this sosososo much <3

The coloring and lineart is fantastic, and it's just so adorable.

I especially love how you did Seeu's eyes and the tiger's expression.

Korean persimmons are the best XD

That, and the Tiger is Korea's symbolic animal. Its very popular in ancient korean folklore!

OH persimmons are important too in ancient Korean tradition. especially in food and the korean thanksgiving holiday.

Actually when I was living there as a girl in the country, there was one tree in our yard, it was a persimmon tree, and my favorite fruit at that time. It had great sentimental value to the previous house owners too.

Persimmon is a very nostalgic item in for many Koreans. They read about it in poems as children and it is a common symbol of that sentimentality. Sort of like...ice cream sundays or marshmallow smores for American children. Smores especially are often associated with camping, summer time, family fun, and so on. A persimmon for many Koreans is kind of like that! ^^

yes I know... I am a Korean too...
my dad used to have a persimmon tree in his childhood home
and though I never had that, I do like persimmons very much, especially hongsi.

Ohhh sorry!! When i read your comment, i thought maybe you were not Korean. So very sorry!!

But i mean, if you think about our cultur, Tigers and Persimmons do go together after all! ^^

lol its ok
they go together very well in cultural context but not in folktale context, which is what I find so funny and thus this pic is produced.
