I think the theme led to this picture in my mind by something along the line of "Hell hath no fury like Toph and Sokka in a double battle" or something like that.
This was based on an idea I got from :iconpopsiciette:, drawing my pokémon team as gijinka. So if you are wondering why Sokka's hair is blue and Toph has Nidoqueen ears, it's because they are the member of my team avatar pokémon team (yes I used team twice, but no one cares). Above them is what their ball capsules look like when I send them out and they are each using one of their moves, Toph the Nidoqueen using Earthquake and Sokka the Golduck using Surf. Of course if they used those in a real double battle they would end up making each other faint (if Toph didn't faint first from a KO from Surf).
I was thinking about doing some follow-ups with the rest of my Avatar Pokéteam. It would be easy to do Aang the Togekiss and Katara the Kingdra (or Queendra?) together in a pic, but then the two remaining members are Zuko and Yue (an Infernape and a Froslass) which doesn't quite define an epic duo.
Well anyway, this counts as Tokka, yeah. The rest of the Tokka Week deviations won't have Pokémon in them, so if you're not quite the Pokéfan, you need not worry.
