Description Possibly the last "fashion shot" I will be putting up.
It was hard to get the outdoor light to cooperate. The clouds would cover the sun like every minute....

and the title is stupid I know.
So I am a vogue pirate with no boat and no water.. deal with it.

That umbrella fell apart a long time ago, but I kept the fabric, so it turned into a sort of oddly shaped pirate flag.

well actually, cloudy weather is the best weather for photos lke these.

in a studio you'll rarely use a spotlight directly on the subject. you most of the time use a lightbox that diffuses the light to have agreeable shadows. or a reflector.
that's what the clouds do. they're a giant diffuser.
