To avoid any confusion, this is fanart of a character from the Hetalia series. XD In the story, various characters take on human personifications of actual nations, their cultures, and languages. Austria happens to be my favorite. ;D

It's finally done! I'm so glad I can put this image to rest. Seriously, I thought I would never finish it! You guys must be sick and tired of me posting work-in-progress iterations, and I promise, this is it! XD
I'm quite pleased with how this picture turned out. It's so far away from what the original sketch and lineart started out as--something somber and grumpy. This is so much happier, and so much more... me, I suppose. XD Sehr Romantisch~! XD

I've never been asked that sort of thing, but I don't see why not! Do you usually credit the artists, or do you hand out links if people ask?

Well, I was planning on crediting all the artists/cosplayers at the end of the AMV. I've never actually done an AMV that used art from people who weren't my RL friends.
But I just don't like it when I see people using other artists' work and slap a "all the art belongs to their respective artists". >_< I wanted to make sure I had permission before using a piece in a vid. I mean, just because someone posts their art on DA doesn't mean everyone on the internet should just use it how they want! ...Sorry for ranting like that ^^' I just know that such things upset my artist friends.
But, if you'd rather have me put the link in the AMV's description, I can do that too~ : D

It just seems like a kick in the face. You guys put so much work into your pieces and then people come along and, frankly, steal your art for their vids. That's not right!
It's going to be an Austria/Hungary pairing video. I'm going to try to incorperate anime, official art, fan art, and cosplay into it. Hopefully, it'll turn out like I'm planning.

I personally can imagine Roderich standing on a meadow somewhere in Salzburg~~ The colouring of the bouqet is very nice, as is the whole picture - especially the background! Yeah, first year at this uni.... I'm fine with being here, but I'm not that fine with being away from home so far...! I mean, it's 9 hours standing between us! ;-; Blegh, it's really hard... but I hope I'll be fine later on...

No problem! I go to school about five hours away from home, so I don't see my family more than a couple of times a semester. And the first year is always tough. Even when you're having fun and studying and keeping yourself busy, you just can't escape homesickness, especially if you have a good relationship with your family. XD The first few days--before classes start and you're still moving in--are usually the worst because everything is new and you're just sort of thrust out on your own. But give it a week or two, and you'll adjust. You'll settle into a routine and eventually find a way to make your school into a second home.
If you ever feel bummed out, send me a note or something! I sympathize with you completely. XD
