I have to say that your artwork is awesome and i think your style is different from a Spirit style. Thats what drew my attention to it
Back to the image: I think what should happen is that a random stallion runs up and steals all the mares when them two are fighting

your style looks too much like Spirit, you should get your own style, you can get in trouble for copying their style

ehhh its spirit "fanart"..lots of people do this..alot of people copy styles..what do you think "anime" is..but i do kinda have my own style..if you compare the "silver stallion" to a screenshot of "spirit" or "rain" you'll see a difference.. not to be mean or anything but do you hate me or something?

Critice is hardly keen words, but it is to teach new beginners like you how to develope your OWN style and your own characters.
Watching other artists is good for learning, but copying their style is illiegal cause its against the Copyright law.
I used to do the exakt same thing, my fox girl was first taken directly out of a comic book, color, style, everything was the style as it was in the comic, but!
as you can see I've changed my characters alot the past 3 years *Yes, July 21st I've been on DA for 3 whole years*
I do not hate anybody, don't take it that way, see it as a few advices and tips from a senior :3
I've developed some great characters the past years, and my style has gotten from Aweful to average.
Even I am not perfect, I'll never be perfect, but I keep on drawing and I improve everytime I draw something.
I'm working on some new artwork feel free to look at them whenever I'm uploading them
You can see how much my style changes by each picture.
I'll submit some horse artwork aswell so you'll see how I draw them.

I don't want to but in- but you are wrong about it being illegal just to fanart. Dreamworks came out with a book of how to draw spirit style, giving rights to draw fanart.
And, uh, Pookyns style is not really spirit style. Check out screeenshots of the movie and compare. Similar but not the same- just like alot of cartoons can be compared to Spirit because it's a icon as one of the leading animation conversions of digital and traditonal artwork.

yeah i see what your saying but my style is different..look at some spirit fanart and you'll see diff styles..i've been drawing all my life..and alot of other people(including fanart central) all think i have a diff style..we all have diff styles. any ways i've been drawing horses for the past 15 years and i've been drawing spirit art work since 2001..i learn off trial/error and other ways all artist learn. i also use my own real horses for anatomy issues...i know you dont hate me
