I've always loved Asu's design, so I thought I would draw her for Chutkat's birthday. ^^

The curve of her body reminds me of a bend in the creek down in the bottom pasture. Its absolutely beautiful!

That's because it's a mixture of both. A fully shaded pencil drawing, scanned and then coloured with about 35% opacity in adobe.
That may help.

It's mostly just pencil marks.
I always loved how Chutkat put in those bold purple colours. It realy does something with the pale shades of the dragon herself.

Well in alot of pictures I've seen you do, you've always done the hair detailed, and this picture is no exception.
I've never seen much of Chutkat's artwork but I'll look into it more!
