All right, I have to admit that this is really the first serious piece of fan art that I'd done (with the creator's permission).I fell in love with the original, done in traditional pen/ink media. This is so far off from my usual style that it took me well over a month to even come close to trying to nail it down.
So, with the permission of the creator, Melanie Anderson of Chaotic Harmony , here's my version of Andromeda.

I think the size has a lot to do with keeping the colour. Elfwood has such a small window for image size that it's really hard with larger images to keep detail when you resize.

I must say that I did see this image in your gallery at Elfwood but it seems more impressive here. She seems to leap off the page with brilliance, sex appeal and lovely color. You seem to have an excellent eye for detail and uses the digital medium to enhance your gifts. Outstanding.

that's amazing. the only thing i don't like is that the features of her face don't really match her body... like her race or nationality. but the colors are incredible and all in all it's an unbelievable piece.

I love all of the colors and I'm sure that this must have taken you ages. It was well worth it tho. It's beautiful. The shading on the muscle tone is great!
