Sorry Glitchy Red, you only get a quick doodle, even though you were awesome.My tablet has been working for the last ten minutes. NO IDEA WHY but I'm taking advantage of it. Doodled this real quick, moving on to Speak, now, promise.
Oh, right, capped it off of 4chan. Showed up on /tr/ not too long ago.
I wrote 'self awareness' on it because Red became self aware in the pasta. I find this idea irrevocably intriguing. A videogame becoming aware of not only itself, but it's purpose? Its surroundings? Its player? It became aware of all things. I was in awe of the concept.

I feel awful for him. He recognized his existence and loathed it; he took it out on the only person he could, then finally, inevitably, did away with himself and his awareness again, and went back to blissfully being a simple game. In essence, he survived only long enough to kill himself. It's tragic, really...

that is not true. They used to be fine. They are tiny now because the image site I used shrunk them all because of new policies.

This is so great, but I almost feel angry at Red for not telling the player sooner, and asking for help rather than becoming angry. I think if I actually ever program a game, I will have to add in some sort of Easter egg that could help the character and the player communicate should the need ever arise.

The story itself... Makes me glad I'm not a hacker actually.
Though, I'll admit. One glitch I did abuse, was the Mew Glitch. Only once, in pokemon yellow though. xD
Though, it does make me so sad, that I've played all of the remakes. And a bit guilty, actually.

I mean, uh, oh yes, it all makes sense now! XD I understand. The story really grabs you (not literally, because that would just be scary) and forces you to keep reading. It's epic stuff. Except at one point I stopped for like 5 minutes to cry my eyes out because it just occurred to me that Red is like nothing anymore. The worst part is, I just beat Red after the gazillionth try in HG about two days before reading Glitchy Red. T^T It says in the story that it's not really Red, just a replacement, but I still can't help feeling all sad about it.

I don't know; the story itself was a little full of itself. Stuff like "I didn't cry blood or some shit" threw me off- but the idea held true. A character fully aware of its existence, or lack thereof, is very intriguing.

Love all your art, this one is great as well. Plus I love creepypastas, this one was like guardian angel-more than just a thriller story, it actually has an in-depth story that makes you LIKE the story and gives you that disturbing thing where you want it to happen to you.

- I love other creepypasta, sure. (I'm totally sold on Lost Silver and Creepy Black.) So yeah, I know the derogatory comments in Glitchy Red were unnecessary. But that really doesn't change the fact that this one's my favorite.
Yeah. >: It really makes you think into the game characters you're playing as. (It also makes you think about Blue, with the mention of the killed Raticate and all that.) Creepypastas always ruin the innocence of the games (this especially) but man I love it. I don't think twice about playing FR/LG though just because of this, but it's nice to be thrown into a new perspective about how to treat game characters.
I think the premise of Glitchy Red is inspiring me to write a fanfiction about it.

But I was always bothered by Red having brown hair in FR/LG. it's sorta silly, but I've never actually played Red or Blue. I started with Gold. And when they announced FR/LG, I was PSYCHED. I couldn't wait to play a get that new-game feel with the game everyone ELSE started with. But I was like... this is different. He looks different, Blue looks different, the controls, the area- it wasn't right. I was sort of put off by that.

- I guess the only thing preventing me from having Lost Silver as my favorite is because I can't make any coherent sense of the message that it is trying to convey. I know it's supposed to say that Gold died, but I'm not sure what it means by that (whereas, there is a clear message behind Glitchy Red and Creepy Black -- the former being how you treat "fictional" characters, and the latter being going mad with power and the power comes back to kill you in the end). It's still interesting to think about, though. (I'm a freak about the morals that these creepypastas teach.
)Oh yes, I definitely don't like Red's appearance in FRLG -- the brown hair doesn't match him. (Brown hair is better with Black anyway.) For some reason, though, Blue (I prefer to call him Green but I'll just call him Blue just for this comment) looks better than he did in the original game. I just can't really explain it, I like his hair color. >: As for control set up, I'm not sure since I never have played the game. I should really get a ROM of it or somethin'.
ALL RIGHT THEN. Once I figure out how I'm going to write it (I know instinctively that it would be best writing it as second person, as in saying "you" etc) I'll write it and send you a link when I'm done.

I think it was a message on the futility of existence. A lot of metaphors. Some I get, some I want to understand. But enough of it strikes me harshly enough that it really affected me.
