To me, this is a very visually pleasing drawing. The lighting makes it look like Matt is glowing, almost like some holy being or someone from the other-world (which is fitting, considering what happens in the Death Note storyline). It also draws the eyes towards him, since the light frames him, making him the focus of the picture.
I love the bridge in the background which, to me, symbolizes a crossing, either between this world and the next or reaching a goal. The expression on his face gives me an impression of cockiness, but also happiness. I love your coloring technique and I think you captured the colors of Matt very well. I could stare at his face for days and not get sick of it.
I would have loved it more if the buildings in the background had been a bit more detailed (I assume they are buildings, at least.). To me, they give the drawing a more chaotic feel and while it may fit, I find it to clash with the rest of the drawing, which seems more serene to me.
All in all it is a very beautiful drawing and it had a big impact on me. You did an excellent work with it and it captures the character very well!
