I being an old boomer remember other times, scary times......the threat of atomic annihilation!
Duck and Cover!!
You see a bright flash......what do you do??? AHHHHGHGH!
It got old......finally we learned to live with it.
But we had to adjust, be nicer, we were no longer the bully of the block.
Now this......a single cell......funny looking thing.......will kill you with out mercy.
And it’s a slow terrible death.......drowned by your own bodily lung fluids.
The best defense is to separate......quit milling about in mass formations.......but the same thing applies......be nice to each other.......there’s a new bully on the block.

A nuke free world would be great.
But there is a bigger threat out there.
Chemical and biological weapons are far more terrifying.
VX chemical is so potent a drop the size of the eye on a Lincoln penny will kill you. And we and others have tons of this stuff.
Hundreds were killed when weaponized Anthrax escaped from a weapons plant in Russia.
All that stuff is stockpiled......and deterioration is ongoing of the containment.
Atomics you need to fear the dirty bomb, a terrorist builds a crude atomic weapon. But this has to be done to very specific parameters to be a big explosion. Otherwise you get a smaller boom but spread radioactive dust all over. Inhale the dust and microwave yourself from the inside.
I’ve seen death from over exposure to something highly radioactive. A dismantling of our base atomic power plant Fort Greeley in 1974. They over estimated our safe time of exposure to the plant’s core during removal. They were burned like a bodies in a fire when I passed by their room at the base hospital. I was exposed too but at a greater distance and less time. I had 10 badges and all were exposed but one. I got sick but recovered. Monitoring and Potassium Iodide tablets. The VA is still fighting me on this as the records of the operation were deemed classified and sealed. Standard cover up.
Keep up the fight for a better less lethal world.

With artwork and video games? I'd say things are going just fine.

Sadly, the job I finally got hired for last Monday will not close. We still have to come in and work even though it hasn't been as busy because of what's been going on.
I don't think we should be open because we're just an ice cream shop. :/
