I don't really understand what this "not-so-desirable future" entails. Could someone please explain it to me?

I'm not op so I could be misinterpreting what they are saying, but what I think they mean is in a perfect and desirable future there will be no more want or need. Anything wanted or needed is already achieved. Without want or need, a person wouldn't have any goals or aspirations either. I think that's what "Would mean the end of it all" means.Β

No, it isn't desirable at all. We fall so we can get back up. It can't rain all the time. No matter how hard life hits me (and life hits me pretty fucking hard), I refuse to wallow in misery and despair. I refuse to be defeated.
