Well I was TRYING to upload this as a Deviant ID buuuuut even though I submitted it to the correct category, whenever I tried to chose a picture as a Deviant ID it said I didn't have anything uploaded as a Deviant ID. Dunno if it just takes a little while for the system to realize what category a new submission is in or not but it sucks so I decided to just edit this to be a regular submission.What we have here is the NECA New Nightmare Freddy that was put out a few years ago. Not a bad figure and until the recent NECA offerings, was the most accurate Freddy they had made. Of note on this figure is a great likeness to the make up Robert wore in the film and a great multi-piece sculpt for the glove.

When I watched "New Nightmare" It took me awhile to Understand what was going on but then I got it, the spirit of the Elm Street films were so powerful Freddy came out of the films to kill everyone who acted, produced and worked on A Nightmare on ELM Street. The movie made more sense when I saw that robert englund, heather langenkamp, wes craven and the rest of the actors were playing as themselves in the movie. I gotta' tell you thats the best Idea ever cause new nightmare is "The Curse of Freddy Krueger!".

Oh yes, conceptually it was a really brilliant film and a lot of the stories around making the film were great but I think the execution was poor. The Hansel and Gretel ending was weak, Robert Englund as a character never had a chance to confront the real life manifestation of Freddy which really, that would have been great to have especially if the demons only way to have a physical form was through possessing Robert which would have led to a great final confrontation with Heather trying to stop Freddy without hurting Robert. The movie for me was great right up till the last 20 minutes or so which were so bad. XD
