Man, I could never make anything cool like this with clay. You got some very good talent with that medium, I could see this as a McFarlane Toy EASY! Great job! That head in the shoulder is very creepy. I would hate to run into one of these things.

I've got an upcoming project and I'd like to do a similar vieny / sinew like exterior for parts of it. I was wondering if you had any recomendations on how to get such an affect like you have going for your sculpture. Where the tendons seem to be stretched from the shoulder to the bask of the jaw, and yet there by themselves, suspended inbetween the two structures, not attatched to anything else, they look like they're actually stretching and exposed. I had some theories on how to do something like that, like a cookie cutter effect applied to a thin layer of clay then stretch it out over the model, but how would you go by doing this?

About my carcass sculpture,First I sculpt head part and body part separately then I put the core between two parts to attach them together this core will be the neck of my moster I don't sculpt it too big because I will add vieny / sinew later when the clay dry I add lots of vieny / sinew by making clay in stripes and attach them from head to body, from head to core, from core to body or form core to core. I use different size of stripe to make vieny / sinew.
Ps.I don't sure if you can imagine form my description(it's hard to explain in word) if you want more info please mail to me and I will send you some concept art of my sculpture that will tell you step by step how to put vieny / sinew

Woah, this is killer! I would have loved to paint this. Was this easy to mold? Was it complicated at all? Either way, I want to learn how to do something like this!

To mold? you mean make a copy of this sculpture? I think it is very hard because of its high detail on its neck, but if you would like to learn about how to make sculpture may be I can help....just ask me what you want to know.

I'm not good at sculpting at all, but I'd love to give it another try. What kind of tools did you do to make the small details? How exactly did you make the final model? It just seems like such a long process to me, and you can't leave any detail out! I feel safer working 2D, but sculpting seems like a fun hobby.

I make my sculpture with non-firing sculpture clay (super sculpty can make better detail but it is more expensive and need firing to make it dry),the tool I use is not a normal sculpture tool that sell in shop,it is custom-made(I use knitting tool with little modify) and about the mold I use silicone rubber but I don't make it oftens because it is very hard to make the mold.

I think they have a topical cream to treat this kind of condition. Nice layered anatomy here, this piece is very educational and super bad-ass. Excellently done. Is it just the way this picture looks, or is the "neck" area mostly hollow? I notice a little gooified face in his shoulder area too, that's a nice touch. Is that the only one, or did you sprinkle in a few more little faces hidden around this work? However you made this, it looks like you had a lot of fun.
