Sorry for being away for so long, but I'm soooo busy at the moment.Anyway, this is my first serious attempt at hyperrealism: though it's very far from perfect (especially in hair, eyebrows and lips) I'm quite proud and satisfied of the final result!
As usual, I had to edit it a lot with Photoshop to give it back part of the depth the scanner destroyed; I'm also aware that it's a bit too dark, but it was necessary to darken it a lot to avoid an annoying "fluo" effect in the whites...
Let me tell you what you think!

Tools: graphite (F to 5B), charcoal (black and white), black pastel, kneaded eraser

Thank you so much! Eyes to me are the most important thing in a portrait, and I strongly believe that if you nail them, the whole portrait will be good, while if you fail to make them, even if the rest of the drawing's really accurate, the final result won't be satisfying...
