Dex Entry (thanks to 12Redsky34 and IceyPinkLemons ): Zapchin are commonly found embedded in the sea floor. They use the spikes on their bodies to repel predators and capture prey. Their soft innards are protected from enemies by their rock hard shells and spines.

Since it's a electric type, you should change poison jab for a special move called shocking jab, which would have a small chance of paralyzing.

Neat mon, one can always enjoy a smile like that. Not a big fan of its Swift Swim ability though, as it has no strong limbs to move itself with, so Iron Barbs would seem more appropriate. As for its stats, something similar to Ferrothorn wouldn't be out of the question, so to write something off the top of my head:
63 HP | 94 Atk | 155 Def | 56 Sp Atk | 107 Sp Def | 28 Spd
It could also use Magnet Rise as an option due to its crippling Ground weakness, so something like Twineedle or Electric Terrain could be replaced with that. Overall, nice looking mon!
