Based on the presence of Chicken Little and the date this was made, this was back when Disney animation first truly started to become a downhill mess. And despite popular opinion on their most recent films, I believe they still haven't recovered from it.

Loonatics Unleashed was kind of a disapointment. It was really cute, but it had the potential that was never filled

None taken at all!
Disney and Warner Brothers (mostly Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunnys) are the reasons I became a cartoonist! ;D
I also love the idea of LOONATICS UNLEASHED! Different, but nothing like some changes!
And yes, I remember CHICKEN LITTLE!!!!
Anyway, it's excellent! Great job!

May not be the same as getting the Looney Tunes back, but thank god for the new generation at Cartoon Network. Adventure Time has an Emmy, right?

I dig most cartoons, Western and Eastern cartoons. I love anime but I'm sick of all the anime style US shows, although the Avatar rocked! One of the best cartoons in recent years.

well heres what your gonna wanna do. create zombie virus. infect walt disney. lock him in with everyone else, in a contolled environment. then whenall people are zombies, shoot each one in the head. problem solved. either that or let his ghost posses you and use your body to do his work.

Hahahaha! Really funny! Looks like nowadays Mickey and Bugs must struggle to keep their place in the cartoon universe. I like the fact you put Chicken Little and Ace Bunny in your draw, each of them reflects the bittersweet evolution of the companies in making cartoons.
Where are all the good ol' cartoons from the nineties? I miss them so much!

I think I'm one of the few that actually enjoys Loonatics around here .-.
I grew up with the old cartoons too, and still watch them, I think of Loonatics as a new series on itself, not a spin-off..
Anyways, good work!

It's not like I hate the animated series, I also watching Loonatics Unleashed now, it just that compare to some previous WB's animated series like Road Rovers, it just lack of humors and not very cartoony.

And this is what I said to many people about Loonatics:
Loonatics is not a bad show but at the same time it isn't the cartoon blockbuster Warner Bros. predicted. And the show isn't really a disgrace to the originals. It's just that the Loonatics just aren't as open or fun as Warner Bros. previous cartoons (Teen Titans, Xiolan Showdown, Static Shock, ect.)
What I'm tring to say is every episode is the same thing, menace strikes, Zodavia contacts the Loonatics, Loonatics fight villan, villan gets away (or Loonatics retreat), Tech invents something, Ace hatches a plan, Loonatics fight villan again and succeed, Zodaiva thanks the Loonatics, Danger Duck trys to impress Zodavia by doing or saying something comedically stupid just to get her attention, but she ends up yelling at him. The End.
The second season however seems pretty well though.

This picture spurrs some interesting conversation. I think I'll add my two cents.
First of all (yes, those dreaded opening words. Don't worry, though -this isn't a flame!), I am quite fond of both the Loonatics and Chicken Little, but you make a good point. If Warner bros. had put a bit more effort into Loonatics, maybe it wouldn't have been so controversial. Plus the first season is a bit too short for my taste (getting only 13 episodes for the first season sucks). Chicken Little didn't really impress me when I saw it in theatres. I guess I'd expected more. After giving it a second chance, though, I found it to actually be pretty good. It's just a bit...off somehow. I think it would have been better in a traditional media.
Secondly, I know how you feel! All the old cartoons have been sent to the graveyard. What I find ridiculous is that it's partially because these shows were (supposedly) too violent. I think they're approaching old cartoons with an overly politically correct attitude. Now when I see Wile E. coyote get crushed by a giant rock, I don't see violence. I see comedy. He's a cartoon character, after all! There are other reasons for the old cartoons disappearing: racial issues (some characters are stereotypes), bad language, and other things besides. I've even heard that Pepe Le Pew comes across as a stalker these days (which is sort of true). I remember looking everywhere for Song of the South (an old Disney live action/animation film) on video or DVD, but not finding it. While I was riding the monorail in Disneyworld last spring, I asked the driver why it couldn't be found. He told me that the current boss at Disney didn't like the film, so it hasn't been released yet. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but my Dad thinks it may be because it was based in the Southern states and they're worried about offending people.
What's worse is that they've closed down nearly all of their animation studios and left the rest to Pixar. It seems like they're almost completely dependant on them nowadays. I'd just like to see a company come up with one mind-boggling cel animated movie and breathe life back into 2-D cartoons.
On a final note, this is a nice picture. It's very humourous, and well drawn, too. Ace looks adorable. I may just have to !

I wanna point out, 13 episodes is pretty standard per season. SWAT Kats, for instance, had only 13 episodes in its first season.

I work at disney and i know for a fact that a huge movement is going on in the company to bring back traditional animation. They are gonna dedicate all CG stuff to Pixar and WD animation will be all traditional hand drawn from now on in keeping with the original spirit of Walt's dream.

Not anytime soon. The executives think it is too controversal to release to the public. There was a plan to release it on DVD, and the NAACP threw a sissyfit over it so they had to cancel.

Sorry if this is totally random, but yeah. 83; Felt like chucking something at 'cha. xD Your 'wish' might come true a few years in the future. n___n ~ My friend and I are going to go to college for 2-D Animation starting over the next year or so, aand most likely going to create 2D films in our own studio. :3 So, do not fret -- the future is bright! ~ We both have our own books we are in the process of writing! x3;

Loonatics was horiable show. They took the characters all of us here on DA knew and loved, and turned them into demonic freaks! I mean nobody liked the show, if you can bring a guide up on your tv there are nothing but repeats. I don't Know what to say now, but, WB, you killed all of our best friends.

Same goes for Atlantis (trough that movie was from the start a ripoff of the Anime Blue Water but the same goes for the Lion King)

Kimba the white lion by Osamu Tezuka (the creator of Astro Boy)
Atlantis was a ripoff of the anime Blue Water by Anno Hideaki (the creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion)
it is ironical that two of the best disney movies were anime ripoffs
