I Love it! I also agree with you when you say that Jarlaxle is just awesome. I also wanted to congratulate you on drawing Drizzt's scimitars differently. The guys who do the official cover art for the books ALWAYS draw the scimitars exactly the same, even though one is a demon-killing, ice-imbued sword taken from a dead dragon, and the other one is an Elvish sword given to him later on by a wizard and is supposed to have runes on it (or something like that).

Despite Rhyldaer's winning position, I think the real winners are the mob of girls who saw two purple-eyed drow fight it out.
Heh, poor Drizzt. Purple-eyed drow pirate awesomeness always wins over purple-eyed drow ranger awesomeness. I love the facial expressions and the body positions, Rhyl's so casual in the way he has Drizzt pinned, it's great!

Heh your own caption worked out quite well. It was funny and the image itself rocks hardcore. I like the smug expression of Rhyld and Drizzt's seems to fit everything you had mentioned for caption. Plus the single word "Pirate" just explains it all, doesn't it?
