I really liked that..maybe you didn't think anything when you did it, but it can mean a lot! I know a very nice poem that says " I wish to have a paiting,
like this one you see Mr?
in which I'm always smiling
with a dress of eternal pary
put some lighting in my face
but leave this scar
it makes me look wise
Don't make up any background
Don't paint a forest or any phantasy element
No, in this empty room
just put an empty chair
Of course the poem is a lot better in its original language (portuguese). But it just makes you think: why the woman wants a chair? maybe she wants to imagine that someone is still to come in her life...maybe it is to remind her that she has lived her life alone...
well...I prefer to think that something new is yet to come...
