I wouldn't normally submit this as an individual deviation because.. it's spam/semi-spam to me, but I liked it a lot so )8EdgeworthxMaya is my favorite hetero Phoenix Wright pairing ;u; DON'T HATE ON ME FOR IT OK I swear there was a brief scene or something in Ace Attorney that hinted EdgeyxMaya.

I don't believe it could ever happen either, honestly, haha. What you said is a good way to describe their feelings! While I can't see Edgeworth and Maya actually together, I personally like to imagine Edgeworth harboring an unrequited attraction to Maya. I think that could be really cute 'v'

Yeah, I think that could be possible.
In the game Edgeworth seems to have a soft point on her after case 4 in aa. In trials and tribulations i could see why he was so kind to her: he is admiring her for her courage. Maya had to go through some terrible situations and was able to keep on smiling, even though someone else in her position may had even commited suicide. That's why he could understand her attitude and didn't worry about her that much.
I can imagine Edgeworth having a small crush to Maya, but they didn't have enough time together, so his feelings didn't grow.
Maya admires Edgeworth for his brilliant mind, but it doesn't seem to be something more than that.
But of course that's only how I see the whole thing, maybe the creators propably had something else on their mind. Too bad that Maya doesn't appear in the latest games, so we could figure out if they have a friendly or another kind of relatioship.

I don't think the creators meant to establish any sort of romantic undertone between Edgeworth and Maya, they were just meant to be friends. I personally doubt they would've gotten together after T&T. I have been super curious about those two during Apollo Justice though!

Yeah, just a typical friendship. It doesn't look that they want to make any more pairings than GumshoexMaggey and PhoenixxIris (I am not sure about the last one).
It looks like they are done with Maya and want to continue Phoenix's and Edgeworth's story in the newest games. She propably wasn't meant to be one of the basic characters after all.

I like narumayo better, but... I always think that Edgeworth appreciates all of the new friends he's made, especially Maya. BUT WHO CARES, THIS IS SUCH AN AWESOME PICTURE. I agree with a previous commenter that you manage to make Mr. Edgeworth manly in all your pictures, like in the games! And I think you know the kinds of problems I have with Edgeworth And I find that's important. Maya looks so sweet here too. She's one of my favourite characters and you made her look particularly attractive oh ho ho inheriting her family's good looks OH HO HO HO
Seriously though, I think this is one of your best pixel/oekaki works. The shading and everything is just top notch. I feel like I'm looking at a game screen.

I agree. (shy glances and awkwardness sounds so cute anyway fff) Edgeworth is a social retard so I have problems seeing him paired up with anybody except Pess (lmao). He just has so much mental scarring and issues, you know? And Mayoi has her many issues to work out too, but it's different.
And I was going to type a whole fucking essay right about here, but I'll spare you. hahaha

Yes I was. And I was then going to go into a comprehensive comparison of the way Maya and Mr. Edgeworth deal with their bad experiences. BE THANKFUL.
I can be very brutal, and well, since we're just acquaintances I didn't want to seem to forward. Sometimes it's better when you have someone you trust do these things. If you'd like, though, I was thinking about sending you a note with anything and everything I thought you could improve upon (which isn't much lol). Would you like me to do that, or are you ok?
Also, keep in mind that since you're going to art school, you're going to improve and learn a lot more. I haven't ever had art school and I will probably never go. I'm completely self-taught and still learning. :\

Well, I'm interested in studying art lol. I just have to do it on my free time. I'm in school for linguistics or something like that. I'll probably end up a teacher of some sort like everyone else hahaha.
