Actually I wasn't gonna draw her with lots of muscles but the ref I used showed very clear ones so I thought "why not shaping them nonetheless?" cuz she's supposed to be muscular but I never dared push it as far because I lack knowledge about anatomy. We could say I've therefore learned something from this drawing. x3
I'm glad you agree with my choice as far as the background is concerned!
Oh yeah nice interpretation!! Also the 3 little "islands" as you call them are going down, which may also hint at depression or hopelessness. ^^
Yes!!! I purposely wanted the light to touch both of them! Very nice remark~ Shining on Tsuki cuz there's hope, and shining on William because he's synonym of Goodness.
Thank you Julian, thank you very much for trying not only to see but understand my work as well. It means a lot to me when people go beyond what is depicted. I've been putting much effort into composition lately~

Also I therefore think I'll rework on my sketch for your commish so as to give it a more "thoughtful", a deeper dimension. (Since you're sensitive to underlying meanings, which I appreciate grandly! ♥)

Yeah I like explaining my choices because drawing takes more than handling a pen and giving strokes on a tablet or a sheet of paper. It takes reflection as far as meaning and composition are concerned. So as many people may not take the time to get into the whole meaning of my art, I like giving them hints of interpretation. Of course everyone can analyze art -generally speaking- as they please. Just because I am the artist here doesn't mean other interpretations are bad. ^^

Yep n.n especially when the artist wants to, like, give a message with the art n.n it's fun to analyze it to see what it hides~

Oh... well, honestly I don't have my characters developed... like... at all o.o I'm more-less making Baileyi's history (though here I would use him more as my fursona than as an OC), but to be honest, Absol and Sylveon only are the main two Pokemons of my Pokemon X team n.n''

Let's see... I'll kinda create a scenario for this o.o

If we take this as a mini story, Baileyi would be the kind of trainer that likes to travel with his favorite team members by his side rather than in their pokeballs. A curious look to others due his feral form, but he doesn't really care. They even sleeps with him xD
Both Absol and Sylveon love his trainer and see him as his friend, and Baileyi see them the same way and love them both, even if he have a slight favoritism for Absol xD
Both are very strong and a curious duality considering their types (dark and fairy), but they're good friends that know how to work together.
Absol's always wearing in a necklace the "Absolite" that his trainer gave him. Part for mega-evolve in battles and part because he likes it (he see it as a gift from his friend and trainer)
