Description
So I said I was going to practice angles. So I do.
I'm still not used to that head angle and had a hard time getting it right tbh. I hope it's ok now. @_@
I'm trying to work on expressions too. Here I'm trying to give him a sort of upset look, something between anger and sadness. Very hard to do~ xD But his facial expression is very important here as it links back to the title of the piece!

As you can see, it's Regis, Tsuki's son. I have yet to develop him and never drew any full body of this character so this drawing stands as a concept to help me build his physical appearance as well as his backstory.
He's supposedly a villain character, growing to be a sort of authoritarian dictator. But I still want him to get a family at some point in his life. I think he might even get a daughter and love her to bits. And he would sort of... Redeem himself thanks to her? ... And he would lose the said daughter and sink into full darkness afterwards -or madness. >:')
His mother Tsuki has such a tragic life I don't know if I should give him the same fate but differently or give him a nice life in the end? He would be a bad character so giving him a bad ending sounds... Legitimate? ((While Tsuki would do anything to succeed in her life, is a fundamentally good character, but always fails, resulting in a miserable life, being misunderstood by everyone and having raised a deamon by wanting him to be perfect. I actually want Tsuki to live in an "illusory" world until she realizes what she does wrong, or something like that...))

-I first wanted to have him stand on a square-ish rock and looking proud, in his heydays as a tyrant (also it was supposed to be a scene happening at dawn), but then I decided to depict his more sensitive side, hence the title. I'd like him to often talk to the moon and feel related to it, so here the moon casts a light rim on him, like a friend would put their arm on your shoulder to show you support.
-The cloud behind his head also hints at the title.
-The poppies add a little warmth to the overall cold colors, symbolize hope and fragility.
